Who's the coolest spy in mainstream cinema???? I'll go with Jason Bourne, he works alone and has no remorse whereas Hunt always has to put a team together to help him accomplish the mission...

You make a strong case for Bourne. It's a toss up to me.

Jason Bourne without a doubt. I think Hunt depends too much on hi-tech gadgets and his team. Bourne is like a chess player thinking many moves ahead. Also Bourne doesn't need to depend on disguises to get the information he needs, he's a master of hand to hand combat, and if he doesn't have a weapon he can make weapons from ordinary objects.
Although if you want somebody to save the world or discredit a vip all while taking down traitors within your own organization then Hunt is your guy!

Bourne.

Because he doesn't really depend on high-tech gadgets and fast cars; he uses what he has at the moment. Such as a Bic pen or a rolled up magazine as a weapon. In each situation, I am wondering how he's going to escape with little to nothing at his disposal. I like how he's always calm and doesn't run so much, most times just walking fast. It was more memorable (and believable) to watch Bourne outdrive the police in a beat up Mini Cooper, than any big explosion or train & helicopter chase in the Mission Impossible movies. But more than anything, Bourne's an anti-hero. He just wants to be left alone, but people keep fucking with him. You want him to find peace and live free of interference from the bad guys (the CIA).

The Bourne Supremacy was the only movie I've seen in recent times where I went to the theater (on opening day no less), and more than that, was not disappointed in the film. And hence not pissed at spending $30 for tickets, popcorn, and drinks. I can't wait for The Bourne Ultimatum.

I'll be a dick and go off the list and vote for Harry Palmer. I hate both the MI and Bourne franchises.

Bourne all the way.

Hunt would never be able to do half of what Jason does.

Plus the whole "She is standing right next to you scene" from "The Bourne Supremacy" has got to be one of my all time favorites.

Agreed. Amazing the same man who wrote that created the James Bond sound too--they're different sides of the coin, and both totally cool.

I don't really like Tom Cruise and Matt Dillon, but if I had too chose Ethan is definitely the coolest looking.
