Yeah, it's been about 2 or 3 years since I last ordered from them. They do include trailers though, which isn't the case with most retail sites.

I've used them too. I like that they let you see clips of the movies.

I don't understand why trailers aren't freely available. Porn studios are pretty stupid about this (except Evil Angel-which is the pinnacle of porn studios). I pretty much won't buy unless I can see the trailer first. Studios should make a trailer for the DVD they are releasing and distribute it freely (especially to stores). I bet it would help increase sales.

There are pain in the ass problems with anything hardcore and the current 2257 regulations. I suspect that will keep most stores from showing trailers more than lack of availability.

It's been a few months since I ordered from them or bought porn for that matter, but I visit XonAir.com all the time just to see trailers for all the new movies coming out that I hear about from the studios or AVN because they usually have trailers up in advance or right when the movie is released. I guess it depends.

I made my first purchase from Xonair and I have to say I wasn't pleased. I pre-ordered The 8th Day from them for $22.00. I contacted them after their site said the DVD was available but my order hadn't shipped yet. The got back to me telling me I was going to have to pay an additional $16.00 before they would ship the order. I've never had a site refuse to honor their pre-order price before and on top of that, they charged my card for the original price, obviously with no intention of shipping the item for that price. They didn't remove the charge after they contacted me for more money either. I have now had to make a requested for them to remove the charge for the order they aren't shipping. Just wanted to share my experience, I highly doubt I will ever order from them again after this experience.

@Flash

I think maybe you just didn't understand their position. I had a similar situation with XonAir about a year ago that wasn't their fault but they took care of me. I had pre-ordered Pirates Vol. 2: Stagnetti's Revenge for like 28 or 30 bucks I think and then when it was released they contacted me and let me know that the studio just let them know they were only going to release it as a 4 disc set instead of a 2-disc set so the new price was $69 as their cost had increased significantly. I was a bit frustrated but at Digi Playground, not with them because XonAir didn't decide ti change it. DP did. Anyways, I talked to one of the girls in customer service and she was really cool and ended up giving me free UPS ground shipping even though it wasn't their fault and apologized anyways. So I got my DVD like 3 days after the release day and all was right with the world.

I think maybe you should be asking Adam and Eve why they don't tell the retailers up front that it's going to be a 4 disc set instead of letting them sell pre-orders to customers such as your self and then increasing the cost to them near release day. And FYI their are plenty of examples where a business can't honor a sale price they advertised because of a mistake and that's when it's THEIR mistake never mind their suppliers (and out of their control). For example in January Best buy advertised a Samsung 50" TV for $30 on their website and sold thousands of them on their website. Paid for in full. I know because i bought one. Then we all got emails saying "sorry we mad a mistake and have refunded your money". it happens man to every business and this wasn't even their fault. But looks like they got your money back so that's cool. I'm sure if you had talked to them nicely they would have hooked you up with shipping or something. I've been buying from them more exclusively because they always take care of me and have good service.

Most other sites had the higher prices at the time. I honestly think, if nothing else, they should have offered a price in the middle. Say, 32 dollars total.

But on top of that, they charged my card for a price they never intended to offer. I have a huge problem with that. And they didn't release the charge after they knew that they didn't plan on honoring that price. As soon as they knew they weren't honoring that price they should have reversed the charge. Not requiring me to have to tell them to reverse it.

I was nice in my e-mails/support tickets.

True, it may have been a mix-up. But Flash should not have to deal with the hold charges on his card. This is especially a headache if he used a debit card since it is his personal money being held. I would go for them asking for a few more bucks, but an extra $16 bucks on top of the original $22 is out of the question. The wholesale price for this movie for just one copy is about $28, and I am sure they bought a boatload so they probably got it even cheaper than that. I understand that mistakes are made, but mistakes should be fixed promptly, not weeks later. The specs for this release was finalized for at least a month, so the price should have been accounted for. I think that Flash had a legitimate complaint and this looks bad on the company. I was gonna order my copy from the site, but they won't even ship to Virginia even though I have no problems from the other stores over this. I eventually found that excalibur had this one similarly priced and ordered from them. It took a while to get, but they honored their price.
