Just got 1 in the pink one in the stink 3 and am very impressed indeed!
Ive got the 1st and 2nd and personally think that this is the best DP series money can buy at the moment.
What i like is: -variety of angles including close up crotch shots from between the legs (other RLD series dont do these which is why i stopped buying all other RLD dvds) -excellent lighting seeing all the dirty stuff in clear detail -this series seems to be getting even nastier ( 1 pink 1 stink 3 has lots of great gaping) -great girls (but could do with even more chunkier girls like alica rhodes in my opinion)
All this despite Bobby Fischer who is a scary looking mo-fcker (looks like a crazed muscle bound army veteran).
Personally I'm rather fond of Volume #3. But I do despise the fact the "camera man" didn't do a very good job. Not a singel gape shot in the whole scene... K
Hey Keiko, I happen to like your DP scene in that title! Granted, there isn't any gape shots but I thought Brian Pumper and Scott Lyons did a pretty good job of double pumping you, and your screams of ecstasy more than aptly prove it.
BTW, I love this series and it has quickly become my fave in the DP genre. Other titles focus too much on the side angle shots of the action, but this series usually gives me the close-up crotch shots of the pistons working their magick. I can't wait for #4 with Luci Thai to hit the streets soon!
I have to admit, Robbie Fisher was the only director in Red Light that knew how to capture a lengthy dp with out make it boring. Using diferent camera angles unlike the other R/L directors that just give you one angle and that's it. So, Robbie is gone now? ..damn, so all R/L has right now is directors obsessed and pretty much live and die with the lame side angle, even the european guys do this. ...I was hoping for Manuel Ferrara and Tony Ribas to mantain their own directorial personalities/styles with respect of camera work but they too are changing for all side angles all the time. What a waste of talent. ...The way it is right now, if you take away the name of the director and the title from the boxcover there is no way you can tell which director did which video. All those R/L dvds look like if a robot made them all like a copy machine. And the disease is expanding, even Platinum X Pictures directors like Steve Holmes have the same problem in his videos. Directors that add no personality in their videos with their own camera work and just copy the R/L robot are no deserving of being called directors in my opinion.
Memory fails me,but I thought David Luger was a positive in the RLD lineup.I always look for the name of the director and if I see him(and perhaps Bobbie,I forget)than I'll grab the vid.Otherwise,it almost doesn't matter what the sex act is or who it is,I will probably pass on it.
That's why I always pass on Vince's stuff,he rarely changes angles,same problem with John Strong.A perfect is example is my eyes bugging out when I learned Kayla Marie would be doing a DP in Teenage Spermaholics.Unfortunately I have to blaspheme and say I can't stand Mike John's approach.It's like he's got this 3 point shooting style which he only focuses on,and it makes things seem too claustrophobic.
It's a damn shame that directors deny showing us a full "crotch-on"shot of DP action,especially with such a glorious booty like the one Kayla Marie has.

yeah, only R/L can have that kind of effect in my porn buying decisions too. I'm a big dp fan and a big eurobabes fan, you put both together in the same video and it is an instant sell but with Red Light I take a pass too, or just rent if there is nothing else interesting that week; which doesn't happen too often.Vince is the granddady of the side angle and the static camera crap, Strong is just another lazy director that doesn't has a style of his own he just copy the others. I have to confess,I don't remember anyone making a big deal about it,but I really enjoyed Latin Teen Tryouts.There was a scene in there with a girl named Veronica.She wasn't drop dead gorgeous,but damn I really enjoyed the camerawork.I think my favorite crotch DP angle is when the camera drops down and looks up a bit,like when the girl does reverse cowgirl and you can see her face in between.And when doing cowgirl DP,when there's enough room where you can still actually see the girl's complete ass.Whoever did that scene I enjoyed it very much Mike(Devilsfilm)!
Bravo Wally, I totally agree with you my friend in the Big Apple! Word of advise to directors and cameramen: if your going to shoot any DP's for extreme gonzo titles, please film them from all angles - NOT just the side views. And please don't be scared to get in between their legs. Most hardcore raincoaters like myself really want to see clear, crisp close-up shots of the cocks doing their work on them sweet holes! If you can't find any camera guys willing to get in as close to the action, find some who will. Thank you for listening.

Well Spod, the only good series consistently doing this right now is 1 In The Pink... although there are a few other notable efforts, such as Jules Jordan's work. He's definitely not afraid of getting in close to the action in many of the DP scenes he shoots and usually provides many different angles as well, even going back to his days at Rosebud. I also like some of the DP's being shot by Lex Drill for the many anal-themed titles he's been filming. They're very nasty and he also shoots lots of gapes from many hot babes. Then there are studios like West Coast and Evasive Angles which have also been shooting alot of very nice DP's, mostly with black men on white women. I don't wanna make it seem like I'm picking on Red Light District but Wally is right in that many of their DP's have been ruined by utilizing the single side shot. I mean, come on, I know its necessary to film from the side but for the entire scene?! In my opinion, gonzo directors should be shooting their DP's as nasty and graphic as they are meant to be. DP's are supposed to be captured from ALL angles but unfortunately it seems many directors have forgotten that bit of filmmaking.

Well I just picked up Manuel Ferrara's Double Or Nothing from RLD and I'm impressed! This all DP title features hot babes Liz Honey, Andy Brown, Kathy Anderson and others in some very nasty anal action. They all take on at least 2 or more studs and its shot very well. The DP's are still filmed from the side but their also captured from different angles - which is exactly what I've been wanting to see. There is also some very nice POV shots at the beginning of some scenes, which gives this movie great variety. All in all, Manuel did a pretty damn good job and I hope he continues the same tradition in future volumes. Highly recommended!
