I think the controversy with Aylo/Mindgeek, including the lawsuits they are still facing, as well as political pressure on the porn industry itself, has resulted in the end of porn companies shooting 18-year-old women. If you notice on most, if not all, of the porn agency websites, the minimum age for applying is 19 years old. None of these companies want to run the risk of shooting this kind of porn. I produce my own content out of Texas and technically you have to be 21 to be involved with any type of adult content and not 18. But potential models contacting me through the various outlets I post my production company are way down compared to last year. I have not been able to put my finger on why. Click to expand also porn simply doesnt pay what it used to b/c of inflation since covid. if girls starting out could make 3/4k for a first bg scene (on top of travel expenses and roomin) im sure youd see a lot more new girls in mainstream. then theres the fact that genz is simply a way smaller generation in terms of population than millenials so theres a smaller pool of girls to draw from.
