No you can get married, vote and join the armed forces at 18 so why should porn have a higher age limit?

It needs to be 21 cause 18 and 19 is too young im gonna write to law that it needs to be raised to 21 im sorry guy that age is just too young in their teens wait till there in there twenties at least

im saying we should raise the age of adulthood to at least 21 also cause so 40 year olds wont touch 18 year olds and 50 year olds to they will have to wait till their 21 which is still not good but better than 18

im 18 just think 18 and 19 is too young cause ive researched before 1970s 18 used to be a minor and 21 was legal age it needs to go back like that 18 can be minor again but legal for some stuff but not porn until ur at least 20 or 21
I'm not certain I am correctly understanding the intent here, Sad. Are you talking about raising the age of consent to legally have sex, or just to be legally filmed while having sex? By "legally", I mean so that nobody can be charged with statutory rape. I certainly wouldn't lower the age at which someone can legally perform in a porn film, but I can't say I see the need to raise the age from 18 to 21 either. By the age of 18 or 19, a lot of young people are preparing to go to college, or are already in college. Many of these young people are also having sex. It's also very possible they've been having sex for years. I don't see how you're going to pass a law to prevent say, a 19-year-old college girl from having sex with her 40-year-old professor, for example, by making it illegal for someone to be in a porno before they are 21. After all, according to the law, they are both consenting adults. You're not going to stop 18 to 20-year-olds from having sex by making it illegal for them to appear in adult videos. I don't get your point about the 40 or 50-year-olds. I mean, it's not like the professor gets to automatically score with the hot college girl if he should watch a porn movie the girl is featured in. That's not how it works. Believe me, if it did work that way, I'd be watching a Sunny Leone movie marathon right now, instead of wasting time posting here at ADT!

That guy's obviously just trolling. I don't think he's serious (I hope not) but even if he is, it's one of the most laughable and inept trolls I've ever seen. But he keeps doing it and it gets more disturbing each time. You start to think that maybe he really is that lost.
Of course when you're 18 you probably do a lot of stuff you wouldn't do as you get older cause you mature over time, but that doesn't mean you should take away an 18 year olds right to make their own sexual decisions. I wish I had started at 18 I'd definitely have a lot more accomplished by now. I feel like I wasted a lot of time by waiting, I should have jumped right in. Porn was always in the back of my mind when I was like 16 as something I'd love to do but living in PA pretty much limits that, I mean at 18 I wasn't prepared to just up and run to CA to pursue it, I was afraid to be all alone so far away from home trying to get into something that I had no clue about. Its just a lot and even when I finally made the move I was petrified. I had no idea what to expect but if I had grown up in porn valley I would have definitely started asap. Its just an experience like anything else in life. Even if I got into it and then decided for some reason that I had made a mistake, I would just be glad I figured that out and got it out of my system so I wouldn't spend the rest of my life daydreaming about what could have been. Sixteen year olds can get a drivers license. I wish people would stop asking for more laws than we already have. They are going to be in porn anyway. Eighteen is a good age to start.
