Believe it or not. I saw that at least two years back Snoop Doggs, "Doggy Style" made the all time list. Not sure if it's still on top, but it was.

Before haters get swift with the keyboard. That is of all time, not just that year, and it was accross the board, not just IR.

I was going to ask that question too. I was curious about the best-sellers and whether any magazine kept track of this. I'm only interested in the titles that have sold the most dvds. Every time I buy a dvd, the receipt doesn't list the title, so I don't know how exactly this could be tracked. I find it hard to believe that a Snoop Dog's title is at the top. I would have probably guessed a title by Jules Jordan or Rocco or Joey Silvera.

no independent organization tracks this data. some publications make educated guesses after collecting some data from distributors they work with.

Debbie Does Dallas, I think, is the most famous and popular and viewed movie of all time, porn-wise. Even more than Deep Throat. It's all to do with the title, and the tie it was released -- there weren't SO many videos beign released, and it was the sort of jokey thing couples and non-jaded newbies would rent for a laugh.

After that, I'd venture the Pam Anderson-Tommy Lee tape.

As far as current stuff, probably some Jenna title.

I'm doing what I can to create a vogue for "The Fashionistas." Wow, do people who don't watch (much) porn go NUTS over that flick! I mean, as does everyone else.

I bet the Buttman-Rocco movies of about 10 years ago have done really well.

Well One Night in Paris went out at 500,000 pieces and the reorders are almost the same so I'm sure this tape will hit a record in record time.

I was talking videos.In fact,I did ask that question because JJ in her book state that "Behind the green door" and "Jenna love Brianna" were the two best seller of all times to which,Gene Ross,replied that "Deep throat" was certainly among the two best seller of all times.

Although I don't know you, I don't find it hard to believe that some might question my post. At the time, it was the biggest seller. What you fail to belive is the combination of IR porn, and Rap is much larger than any singular porn base. I heard females were lined up to buy this one.

Even though I love IR porn, I'm not foolish enough to make an ignorant post on this matter. Fasionistas could have well past Doggy Style by now, but looks at all the press that movie got!

A movie doesn't have to be good to be a big seller, it just needs press. When MTV, VH-1, ET, E!, and people magazine are talking bout Doggy Style, don't question sells. Matter of fact, Prior to Doggy Style, the top selling tape of all time was Pam and Tommy. I don't know if these figures are based on dollars, or units, but hey, I still say more people have seen Star Wars than Lord of The Rings, but Wen I saw Star Wars, it's cost me 75 cents. Movies are 9.50 on my block now. Adjust for inflation if you want, but I know the story behind the story.
