| The Ripper Member 76 Posts 2/05 |  Posted - Jun 2 2005 : 5:13AMHi Everyone I recently read several reviews of Belladonnas "My Ass is Haunted" and on the strength of these decided to buy it. When I got the disc home however I was disapointed to discover that some of the action mentioned in the reviews was missing, particularly the Roxy Jezel scene which I was looking forward to. On closer inspection the box cover shown on the reviews states that it is a 2 Disc set and my cover, in all fairness, it does not. I accept that this is completely my fault but wondered if it is a common problem. Being based in the UK I would ask the question whether we only get the 1 disc set or indeed was that a limited edition which I merely missed out on. I am concerned as I am also after the Feeding Frenzy series and one of them (6 I think) is also advertised as a 2 discs and would naturally be disapointed if the same thing happened again. All I would say is beware! when ordering and check that the box cover you buy (especially in the UK)states that what you are buying is infact a 2 disc set - don't be as dopey as me...... by the way it is still a fantastic film. Guess that depends on the money the American producers charge the European distributors for extras included.  [Link] |

| liliane_obsessed Member 25 Posts 11/04 | Posted - Jun 3 2005 : 8:46PM I am a big fan of the evil empire and i can tell when i got genuine product. almost all of the liscened product is on a single layer disc rather than a dual layer, The video quality is sacrificed for this, and sometimes its the running time of the vhs version that just pisses me off. Some discs do not have any special features at all. The worse thing is that they charge the same price for a genuine us dvd as is to their liscened product. [Link] |
