Harrah's was decent so I may try that place again. Treasure Island is a good location since it's across from Venetion and usually has good rate a week or two before the convention. The downside is that it doesn't have a decent food court if you want to pick up something quick. We did go to Treasures, a Steak House and Strip Club. An odd combination. Over here it's pretty much that the bosses force them to be friendly (smile all the time and shit like that) or kick them out. They even send them to "you need to service the customer and be happy all the time" seminars and that for a crappy wage. Of course I don't mean to project that on EA at all!!! But it's something I was wondering about in Vegas as basically everyone there was somewhat way more friendly than the people I meet in Germany. I think I'm going to aim for Treasure Island or the Mirage next year. Although my stay at the Stratosphere is rather tempting as I can't complain about the room and payed like 55 bucks each night...
