Just thought this thread may be a good idea, in companionship with the "recently retired" thread. Many of us fans ask in individual star threads whether there's evidence of new scenes from retired or long-time-absent performers. This post could be a good way to consolidate reported comebacks into one area for future reference.
For the sake of argument let's define "retirement" as anyone who has
1.)Announced their retirement via social media or another media form
2.)Or has had an extended absence from shooting of 6 months or more.(admittedly arbitrary guideline to set and measure but it serves as a point of reference)
And for the comeback, it can be anyone who has satisfied the criteria above and:
1.)Resumed shooting this year. When possible please check/reference the production date of the scene movie, rather than movie release date. This may help avoid false positives from a DVD compilation of an old scene
2.) Someone who has announced a comeback via social media or another media form.
I welcome any contributions from fellow posters and I will do my best to update and report any comebacks that I find here as well, Thanks!
