I wish there were some criteria or consistency in the Best New Starlet eligibility requirements.
At least one girl started shooting in February of 2016 whereas a couple only started in February of this year.

Looking at the "Best New Starlet" nominees, there's not really one girl that stands out to me above the rest. I like some of the girls, but unlike years past, there just isn't one girl that I can point to and say emphatically that she should win it. Of all the categories, the one omission that is glaring to me is the absence of Lana Rhoades: Unleashed in the "Best Star Showcase" list. Speaking of which, Lana Rhoades would be my choice for FPOTY.

^ Yes, that was a glaring omission that I also noticed because that showcase 'Lana Rhoades Unleashed' was stupendous than I looked at the full list of Showcase of The Year nominations and noticed that each performer only had one showcase nominated. I mean look at Angela even she had had multiple showcases released last year but only one was nominated so I guess most probably whoever sorted out the nominations only decided to make it one showcase per performer. And I guess it was a choice between Lana or 'Lana Rhoades Unleased' ..I would have personally preferred Unleashed since its a better showcase but well.
Anyways Mason did get nominated for Best Director for that showcase though.
As for Best New Starlet, I do agree that there is no clear cut one in terms of performances.. Giselle Palmer or Sofi Ryan would have been, but they just started in and around February-March, I can see Jill Kassidy get the award because of her performance in Half His Age. I mean she is a decent performer but she is a great actress. Maybe also quite a contender for 'Best Actress' too. Really got to see what happens.

For me...
Female Performer of the Year: Lana Rhoades easily takes the cake this year, she shot so much good stuff this year, even though she is weirdo. But I'm here for the p0rn, so performance wise she deserves it.
Best New Starlet: From that list maybe Giselle Palmer... or even Violet Starr I would say.

Of the Female Performer of the Year, I say Angla Whit #1, but I'd be very happy for Aidra Fox (deserving), or August Ames (beauty pick). And I'd also be happy for a deserving Keisha Grey. I think Kendra Sunderland and Blair Willia, s should hav3 been on this list, too. And obviously Karlee Grey! But Kay-Grey has no anal or gangbangs yet, so that's why she got snubbed...and walso why I called August a beauty pick!!!
Anyway, Go Angela Go! And all the best to Aidra :) Eva Lovia is sexy and awesome, but I don't see her being the ne, because she is a lttle more vanilla. I'm not really into any of the girls, so Go Aidra Go, and all the best to Angela :)

I think the Female POTY will go to Angela White. She's a Spiegler Girl. She's had a number of showcases produced this year. She's popular, well-liked and doesn't create drama online. I don't think Lana Rhoades will get it mostly because of recent online drama with Adriana Chechik. I think that will hurt her chances this year.
