Last year´s has been given at an earlier November date . So I guess I´ll have to start some sort of countdown . Met Maitland Ward which was great and stood between her and Angela for a shot. I like seeing the reactions from the girls when they heard their names called out. The genuine emotion showing was so great to see in the few that I noticed. It will be fun once again to vote for these. [Link]

Aside from her looks, she's just been a performer who's been so prolific this year, it just feels like she's got multiple scenes coming out each week. However, I'm sure there are those out there who'll complain that she's not worthy of the honor because she hasn't done anal yet. As for "Female Peformer of the Year", there are several girls on that list that I really like (most notably, Jane Wilde and Emily Willis), but I'm guessing Angela White will win it yet again. I know she's massively popular, a true porn superstar, but I gotta admit I've never been able to get into her. Like Lisa Ann back when she was the biggest name in porn, I'm just not interested. That fact that Aidra Fox hasn't even been nominated for POTY for the last 2 years makes the title meaningless. Angela is a good performer and definitely should be in the running but her hold on the title for 3 years should be questioned. Kind of like when Penthouse crowned Stormy Daniels ( 2/07 ) " Pet of the Century " last year and she didn't even win " Pet of the Year " in 2008. [Link]

We've never seen a performer in modern porn era dominate like Angela White has, and I love the fact that she's overcome a lot of odds threepeating as performer of the year for AVN. She's thick and curvy with big boobs and big ass (not your average skinny model), and she did it at the ages of 32, 33, and 34. They say that you can only be in your 20's to have a successful porn career, but that's false because Angela White has proven that you can be successful at any age. Although I picked Emily Willis for my award this year, Angela was 2nd and I have no qualms with her winning. I will happily criticize the voters but they are spot on. There has never been another performer like Angela. It's like the year in the mid-90s that Michael Jordan didn't win MVP because the voters were tired of voting for him. In hindsight, that's a ridiculous statement. Angela is a force of nature, the likes of which porn has never seen before. I congratulate her and hope she continues doing what she's doing. [Link]

Sport dynasties prove they're better by winning an objective sport. Award shows are subjective popularity contests and should be treated as such.
