Maybe we can define the time period as an announced comeback after 6 months or more of not shooting scenes or anytime after an announced retirement.

^I like the idea but I think we should wait until we get actual content from those announced returns because too many times before the announced return is the only thing we get.

I did consider this but, there can often be a delay between announcement , then potential shooting, and then potential release date. So for the sake of increasing the sample size (and discussion where posters can look out for potential new scenes) I used more expansive criteria.
