morbidthoughts  All-Star Member  Big cats scare me but... 3628 Posts 1/03 |  Posted - Jan 14 2022 : 5:58PMX3 wasn't a substitution for AVN's AEE given that it was 2 days instead of 4 and at the Hollywood Palladium, a smaller venue than the Hard Rock's The Joint (which makes up 1/3 of AEE in physical space). It's even smaller than the average Exxxotica but had more performers signing. The Too Short performance had surprisingly bad acoustics and muted enthusiasm from the crowd while Busta Rhymes had a much better production with a roaring audience dancing. I will post the XBIZ Awards photos later tonight or tomorrow. The production was simpler and cleaner than the AVN Awards I've been to, probably because of the pandemic. The red carpet wasn't too bad; again probably because of the pandemic, but I will probably go back into retirement from red carpet work . Edited by - morbidthoughts on Jan 14 2022 [Link] |
