With the feds checking on some adult companies 2257 compliance, why don't they check Girls Gone Wild? Since you know they don't have documentation on everyone in their videos. Seems like somewhere they would actually find an issue with... or does it somehow not apply?

Good question. How do they define 'sexually explicit'? Is it only if the genitals are shown?

Wasn't there a court case where this came up?. I think so but might be wrong. As i seem to remember, the judge said that it if there was anyone underage it didn't qualify as child porn. And since it was done in public they couldn't claim they didn't sign a release.

Just remebered where i read it

It's my understanding that the chicks in GGW DO sign releases. They filmed it at a bar in Indy once. Every girl that entered the door, who felt even a remote possibility she might flash her tits, had to sign a release.

Can't blame you. But darn, I would've bought a copy to sneak a peek.

Edited spelling.

I doubt that the girls provided copies of their IDs though. I don't doubt that they signed release forms at the door but a model release by itself doesn't meet the 2257 documentation requirements.
