I just saw Beowulf in 3D and its a vast improvement over 3D movies I saw as a kid with the paper glasses with the blue and red lens.If you took those off the screen was blurry. Now they use black plastic glasses and if you take those off the screen is not blurry, just not in 3D, nor are the lens red and blue.I would love to see some porn pussy in 3D,but realize I would instinctively duck when Peter North unloads. It's best with B&W images and you don't have other colors to interfere. There's polarization, which works pretty well, but is limited to projection (like movie or slide projectors) where each image goes through a separate lens, and each lens has a polarizing filter set 90-degrees away from each other (e.g. one is vertical and the other horizontal). Then you wear glasses where each lens is polarized, each the same way, so that each eye gets a different picture. Works great if you're filters are good, and you're in-line with the screen so you get the polarized images properly. TV, to the best of my knowledge, can't replicate it. Then there's the LCD-glasses thing, where each lens of your glasses is really an LCD screen. Each one blacks out in sync with the image on screen, so that each eye only gets one image, and they alternate. Works great on tv if you have the gear to support it, but you usually have a wire that connects the glasses to the controlling hardware. There may be others that I'm not aware of, and I'm not counting special headgear where each eye looks into a separate eyepiece to get a separate image. I haven't seen those priced to where they're viable for the mass market. The big problem with most 3D is that nobody's made a really good viewer. Glasses work fine if everything's set up properly, and if you don't already wear glasses. If you already wear glasses, wearing a second pair is usually a pain in the ass. Glasses and special viewers don't work well with 1 common screen (like a TV or monitor), because you're limited to needing gear for everybody who's going to view. Seems to me that 3D will blossom when holography goes mass market, and what you'll have is a virtual zone (cube or box) where the images are formed, and viewers can all look in the virtual zone and seem animaged 3D images without glasses, and at an acceptable angle, the way you can watch and enjoy TV. Bill Margold was in 2: Disco Dolls in hot Skin/Lollipop Girls in Hard Candy. Both of those are pretty dumb but fun... There was also "The Chambermaids" in 3-D with Andrea True.
