But you did get a special gizmo you had to plug in, and attach the glasses via cables. Looking back, I hate to think of how much dna was present from the previous renters. What I recall the most was one scene with Nikki Arizona where she has just met her male partner, and they are starting to get acquainted and you can hear the director giving her instructions. Director: “You know what you’re here for, don’t you?” Nikki: Taking hey eyes off her partner and looking off-screen to the director “Yeah, I know what I’m her for”. I want XXX POV 3D Blu-Ray's from Evil Angel etc.! Mike Adriano's 'The Spit and the Speculum' series or Jay Sinn's 'Pretty Sloppy' series would make for some great 3D moments! And to answer one of own previous questions about 1983's 'Mud Madness', I did find this review on AVN; [Reviewed Mar 01st, 1983 Critical Rating: AA] "A valiant attempt at something new in the shot-directly-on-video genre of adult videocassettes, Mud Madness, the first in AVC’s 3-D Home Cinema series, proves that you can get real 3-D depth of perception on your home television screen. Unfortunately, full advantage of the opportunity has not been taken in this release. The 3-D process is extremely effective, and a few scenes – including a Ron Jeremy wet shot – do make you duck. But for the most part, all you see through the 3-D glasses is a better quality hour-long video escapade that’s no different than any of the Swedish Erotica or Gourmet series. You will find that there are NOT a lot of 3D porn movies available. They just don't sell because most people do not have 3D capable TVs primarily because they don't think its worth it. I bought a 3D LCD TV last Black Friday because it was on sale not because I really wanted 3D and I have yet to rent a single 3D bluray movie. Even if you do rent some I doubt the experience will be worth it. Only big Hollywood movies like Avatar are shot using those expensive 3D cameras. Most of the 3D movie releases you see from Hollywood actually add 3D as a gimmick after the movie has been shot in 2D so they can charge more money. So the movie is not even shot in a way to take advantage of 3D effects like throwing stuff at you. So you cannot expect a tiny budget porn movie to have any decent 3D effect either. Especially after the 2008 housing crash and depressed porn market I doubt you will see any good 3D porn movies produced. The one company that was spending big bucks on porn production -- Digital Playground -- was recently sold. Remember Digital Playground produced the ridiculously expensive Pirates 1 and 2 movies. Only 8 pounds for two (but of course that doesn't include the weight of a rig). (The Hobbit was shot on those cameras) A "tiny budget porn movie"? Try the consumer-level Sony HDR-TD30V for a grand! And to amend your assessment, I'd say about 30 percent of releases and 3D re-releases are 3D conversions while the rest are shot in native 3D. But its probably a long ways off, especially with people posting scenes on those tube sites and the fact we haven't had a real interactive movie going on 3 years now. All that for someone to ruin it for everyone else who bought it and supported the great expense, time and effort it took to make those types of movies. I've already been in the discussion as to the expense, time and effort of making movies like my plaything, it just would turn out better if people would buy the darn movie, especially cutting edge stuff like the last three my playthings, I still watch them even today, a replay value of 3 years has more than made it worth the money I spent on them. I make my way through those 3 and the other interactives I own, whenever mood strikes me, and they always get me off when I need it. [Link] |
