I'm wondering if someone on ADT could start a thorough listing of all porn that's been filmed & released in 3-D. Theatrically or direct-to-video. Anaglyph or field-sequential.
1983's "Mud Madness" starring Ron Jeremy has been credited as a 3-D film in numerous places.
While the original title is "Mud Madness", more than one resource credits the home video as being entitled "3-D Mud Madness". My question is, does anyone know whether or not Mud Madness was a legitimate 3-D release? Theatrically, on home video, or both?
I remember this release a few years ago that came with special glasses that you needed to plug into the wall...it was very much like the old Sega games that used to have 3-D glasses, if you remember those. It was horrible to watch and produced headaches after a few minutes of viewing. :(

I recall a lovely lady named Nikki Arizona (?sp) ( a “spinner” redhead with implants, and a great attitude) that appeared in a few 3D movies many years ago. IMHO the 3D effect varied greatly. Parts of one scene looked fantastic, while other parts of the same scene were all blurred out.
Unfortunally I can’t recall the name of the movies. But you did get a special gizmo you had to plug in, and attach the glasses via cables. Looking back, I hate to think of how much dna was present from the previous renters.
What I recall the most was one scene with Nikki Arizona where she has just met her male partner, and they are starting to get acquainted and you can hear the director giving her instructions.
Director: “You know what you’re here for, don’t you?”
Nikki: Taking hey eyes off her partner and looking off-screen to the director “Yeah, I know what I’m her for”. She then proceeds to bend over and offer her booty to her partner.
Just her demeanor ….. guess you have to see it to appreciate it.
"M-3D!" was originally known as "Hard Candy" or "Lollipop Girls in Hard Candy". I saw it a few years ago as a midnight film. The audience turned it into MST3K real quick. Nothing like seeing John Holmes on the big screen and in 3D!
"Disco Dolls In Hot Skin" was the other porno film I've seen in 3D, and like with "M-3D" I saw it as a midnight feature. I remember the theatre for both movies being packed (I saw both movies at the same theatre), and the audience for both of them were cult film fans who went there to laugh at the movies.
I remember "M-3D" being about some lollipops that were distributed around the world to various people, and that they (the lollipops) were aphrodisiacs. And "Disco Dolls" was about, well, a disco.
So no old-timers that can definitively answer about "Mud Madness?" mod: extraneous quote removed. See the Forum Etiquette. Edited by - hardware on 6/8/2007 12:54:39 PM
So where is all the hardcore porn on 3D Blu Ray? Where's my 3D POV with 'pop-out-of-the-screen' moments? Why doesn't Evil Angel and Jules Jordan Video throw their hat into the ring? I mean you can get a consumer level HD 3D camera for $1500. Is it the 3D Blu Ray authoring that is cost prohibitive? All that's out there is story driven nonsense and a glut of mainstream movie parody's. What a complete waste of 3D technology.
^According to posts on the forum at sineplex.com, a new website titled "3dporn.com will be launching in the near future with side-by-side, polarized 3D vision, and anaglyph files. There's also a company called Sinful Robot who's developing a game compatible with the latest virtual reality headset, the Oculus Rift. GapeFan ( o )
One of the earliest is HEAVY EQUIPMENT (1977). You can get it on DVD from Bijou. The film is great fun, and for me the fuzzy remains of the 3D only enhanced the kitsch experience. There is also an old softcore/nudie/sexploitation movie (I haven't seen it so I don't know which subgenre would be more appropriate), THE STEWARDESSES (1969).
Yep, I'm well aware of Sinful Robot's venture for the Oculus Rift. Although it's going to be a game, not an interactive movie. As far as the 3dporn website is concerned, I'm not a fan of online-only content (I think that is the big letdown/failure of the RealTouch). I want XXX POV 3D Blu-Ray's from Evil Angel etc.! Mike Adriano's 'The Spit and the Speculum' series or Jay Sinn's 'Pretty Sloppy' series would make for some great 3D moments! And to answer one of own previous questions about 1983's 'Mud Madness', I did find this review on AVN; [Reviewed Mar 01st, 1983 Critical Rating: AA] "A valiant attempt at something new in the shot-directly-on-video genre of adult videocassettes, Mud Madness, the first in AVC’s 3-D Home Cinema series, proves that you can get real 3-D depth of perception on your home television screen. Unfortunately, full advantage of the opportunity has not been taken in this release. The 3-D process is extremely effective, and a few scenes – including a Ron Jeremy wet shot – do make you duck. But for the most part, all you see through the 3-D glasses is a better quality hour-long video escapade that’s no different than any of the Swedish Erotica or Gourmet series. The direction is too static to have anything extraordinary jump out at you. Nevertheless, the presence of Rhonda Jo Petty and Ron Jeremy make the mud wrestling premise pretty interesting. After an extended sexual interlude between the two stars, Rhonda Jo and her friend, Nancy, begin a sexual mud odyssey that includes every conceivable position. And there’s a few headlocks, too. Those who enjoy this type of sexual mini-skit videotape rather than the full length feature adult movie, will probably get more out of Mud Madness than the average adult viewer. But it’s still merely a novelty item for most."
Next on the list, SMELL-O-VISION PORN! I want to smell porno girls fishy pussies, smelly butt-holes, and dick breath after sucking on - what I'd like to imagine was - my dick! Edited by - SexDriven75 on 3/31/2013 9:03:40 PM
I'd love a My Plaything shot in 3D Blu-ray. Would be a hell of a comeback for the interactive genre thats been basically dead for years now, I'd buy that on release day, especially if it finally included anal sex scenes on both of the discs, the only thing that was lacking in the releases from 3 years ago...
FYI here is an old thread on 3D porn but there were not a lot of posts. 3D adult DVDs for 3D televisions? 3D Porn - Let's look at the obsticles 3D Movies in best Quality You can see a list of 3D movies available from ExcaliburFilms here: http://www.excaliburfilms.com/dvd/categories/3D_DVD.htm You can also go to other popular adult dvd rental sites and search for titles with "3D" in them. You will find that there are NOT a lot of 3D porn movies available. They just don't sell because most people do not have 3D capable TVs primarily because they don't think its worth it. I bought a 3D LCD TV last Black Friday because it was on sale not because I really wanted 3D and I have yet to rent a single 3D bluray movie. Even if you do rent some I doubt the experience will be worth it. Only big Hollywood movies like Avatar are shot using those expensive 3D cameras. Most of the 3D movie releases you see from Hollywood actually add 3D as a gimmick after the movie has been shot in 2D so they can charge more money. So the movie is not even shot in a way to take advantage of 3D effects like throwing stuff at you. So you cannot expect a tiny budget porn movie to have any decent 3D effect either. Especially after the 2008 housing crash and depressed porn market I doubt you will see any good 3D porn movies produced. The one company that was spending big bucks on porn production -- Digital Playground -- was recently sold. Remember Digital Playground produced the ridiculously expensive Pirates 1 and 2 movies.
BTW Hustler did a 3D knock off of Avatar. I saw the 2D version but not the 3D version. The 2D version looked pretty weak. Edited by - zambi on 4/3/2013 3:35:19 PM
as a point of clarity I should point out that 3D often means digital porn, that is computer generated images in fantasy, horror, or science fiction settings. That is what I would really like to find! Any suggestions?
A few more titles than I thought, but like someone replied in another thread, many of the titles on that list are anaglyph DVD's and not 3D Blu Rays. And they're all absolutely the wrong kind of product to best utilize 3D Blu-Ray in porn.Things have changed a bit since when that thread was started 2 years ago. Prices have dropped, smaller more manageable cameras have been released, and will hopefully only continue to become smaller and more affordable. OK so maybe an individual will still have a hard time mounting two Red Epic's on their shoulders ($19,000-$24,000 x 2) for a POV, but we're getting there. Only 8 pounds for two (but of course that doesn't include the weight of a rig). (The Hobbit was shot on those cameras) A "tiny budget porn movie"? Try the consumer-level Sony HDR-TD30V for a grand! And to amend your assessment, I'd say about 30 percent of releases and 3D re-releases are 3D conversions while the rest are shot in native 3D. More than just a "gimmick".Not a 3D/3D Blu Ray title, just a parody with a misleading title.
Yeah its certainly come down in price, that camera, wow, that's only a grand? I could only imagine what that could do for the interactive genre like my plaything especially. All of a sudden the POV genre in general would become even more immersive, never mind the higher production values of my plaything or any interactive...like I mentioned already, but damn that would be amazing.
If you do a search in the review database for "3-D" and "3D" (both title and bodies of reviews) you'll get a fair number of results. I reviewed this one: Rack-o-Rama. It sucked. It wasn't much to begin with and the 3-D was just a gimmick; plus the 3-D was poor so it didn't exactly help. That's the problem with most 3-D productions; it's a gimmick. People think it's like ketchup and will cover the taste of the crappy food under it, and it never does.
Your review is for an anaglyph (red/blue) DVD, not a 3D Blu Ray! You cannot compare a technology that's been in the home since at least the VHS age against something that's only been in the home since 2010. But you're right, 3D doesn't make a poor product better, but it can enhance an already good product. I just don't understand 3D bashers. I'm all for increasing immersion, and 3D is part of that. No, it isn't perfect, but it's always improving as long as there's a push towards furthering the level of immersion. No reason to be against it. No one is forced to purchase 3D televisions or 3D Blu-Rays.
I just hope one day we'll see My Plaything bluray 3D and 1080p, finally with anal sex on both discs, not every position as I think it would take too long to make, especially with cum on cue scenes, but it would be nice it was at least doggy, missionary and cowgirl, with any other positions, vaginal only :) I know that I would buy that right on release day. But its probably a long ways off, especially with people posting scenes on those tube sites and the fact we haven't had a real interactive movie going on 3 years now. All that for someone to ruin it for everyone else who bought it and supported the great expense, time and effort it took to make those types of movies. I've already been in the discussion as to the expense, time and effort of making movies like my plaything, it just would turn out better if people would buy the darn movie, especially cutting edge stuff like the last three my playthings, I still watch them even today, a replay value of 3 years has more than made it worth the money I spent on them. I make my way through those 3 and the other interactives I own, whenever mood strikes me, and they always get me off when I need it.
I would just like to find a 3D (I mean digital) site that has photo realistic girls in various fantasy, horror, and science fiction setting with a strong erotic element. That is what I mean by 3D. And if I could find a digital representation of Vampirella nude and in various sexual situations, that would be great. I grew up on Vampirella when I was a kid.
