While residuals might provide some incentive for them to let their whereabouts be known, I don't know that you'd get that much participation. If a performer wants residuals, let them negotiate that with the producer of the movie. According to Christy Canyon's book, that's what she did when she joined Video Exclusives and started "Canyon Video". She says that she got paid $10K per movie and $1 per tape sold. [Link]

Those moneys would be delivered to the performer when she turns in another good performace. (With the judging of which scene deserves the pay off to be done by a massive vote of all who put money into that stars 'pool') You wouldnt have to worry about keeping track of all the stars, as only stars that want to participate would, how else could you send them the money. Problems would be if a star makes good scenes on a consistant basis her pay off would be very small each time. Also, not winning the pay off would be a huge insult and ego/self esteem buster. And of course the biggest problem, Id imagine, lack of fan support making even the biggest pool rather small still. Good thought, but no good way of implementation I think. [Link]
