I am "worried" now, as my favourite performers seem to have fled the business one by one. Tiffany Mynx, Lauren Phoenix, Sandra Romain and Arianna Jollee have all quit it seems. This makes me so sad. Who is going to continue their legacy?
I hope Dana Dearmond, Belladonna and Sasha Grey will keep up the good work, cause they are the only ones, I believe, that has some of these womens charisma and on-screen prescence....
I have Ariana booked on the 21st of this month to shoot a G/G no toys scene for me. She'll also be the boxcover girl. This will be her first movie in a year.
I'm still wondering where some of the starlets I knew when I watched porn more extensively went. This is not the Hollywood Film industry, people who disappear from porn do so with no reports or news about it. One day they're gracing every cover of every release, next week they are gone.

Thanks Jewel, that is SOMETHING at least.... And of course, the ultimate erotic happening of this millennium, would be a comeback from the one and only Jewel De Nyle!!!
I could be wrong but I think a lot of it may just be normal turnover. Hardly anybody stays in the porn business very long. People come and go. I kinda hate to see some of them go but if they don't want to stick around, I'd rather they do something they want to be doing than to keep doing something they're not happy with. I like my porn girls happy and having fun.

hmm i didn't get involved in that whole mess but it seemed like she started the attacks in the first place and then got pissy when a few people had a bite back.
thats despite 90% of the folks in her thread being really really really nice to her.
Well in all fairness to the porn industry....doesn't this same topic apply to:
1) Professional athletes 2) Musical groups/stars 3) Many mainstream "stars" from television
Although the nature of their work may be that they don't actively seek to "bury" their past achievements (as I've seen with some former porn stars), they still can be relatively hard to locate after they leave their respective spotlights. Fame is the same for everyone...it's usually fleeting and seldom has any lasting value. I remember many baseball players of my youth that were "hot tickets" back then that have all but just disappered off the planet since their heydey. Their shelf life may have been longer, but in the end, the spotlight moves on to someone else and without the spotlight, they are just normal people who fade into the mundane world.
Of course, all this was before Google. Now, you can't disappear easily even if you TRY.
Life is like this. People move, people die, people do other things. New construction, neighborhoods change, etc. Porn is no different - the only constant is change. RandomPrecision is right - this is normal turnover. In the last decade, the length of a porn career has become shorter, though there are more scenes done.
IF it helps, Tiffany Mynx has left the buisness more than once.
And Rauol Duke is right, there is always a new star on the way.
I'm very sad too. Those four were my fav girls for so much time. I'll miss them, and it's very sad that probably we will never will know more about them. I don't know you, guys, but I think we stabligh some kind of special relationship with our fav girls, I don't know how to define it.
Not to me, I have been craving the day that Madelyn Knight, Dyanna Lauren, Jenteal(doing women/women) come back. Hey if you are just another pretty face, who really cares but when you are hot and are a great performer, you will be missed by me. I am worried that some of my pussydolls on HLF may have retired. Donna has not done any scenes since 10/06. I hope I don't have to shed another tear about another fatal retirement. Her feet were just an extension of her amazing body and lovely face.
I still miss Rhandy Rhodes, no dude can replace him period.
