Funny how that scene came out of nowhere,had it been in the "upcoming updates" page i may not have canceled my membership.
Glad I decided long ago not to support this kind of frustrating website, despite liking BI's work. Amazes me anyone deals with this. And I agree with what rambo99ca said, "what does you getting paid from RLD have to do with updates to spermcocktail". Your right, Brandon, we don't get it. Here's another thing I don't get: Look back through this thread and you'll see my comments from months ago, predicting these very kinds of problems with Braincrap and pornstar network. If I could see this coming (a female who's not involved in anyway with the porn industry) why couldn't you, Brandon? I mean your work is head and shoulders above a lot of the other material out there. But you got to know this is really hurting your reputation. I mean it says in big bold letters right at the top of spermcocktail.com "THIS SITE IS UPDATED ONCE A WEEK". Bottom Line: Nobody wants to hear about 30 updates on the other sites or how you're having troubles with RLD, when the reason they signed up was for SC. Sometimes business relationships don't work out. Brandon has told us this was the case with RLD. I think people here need to give Brandon a bit of a break. There is only so much control and influence he has on the braincash network and how the updates are done. It appears he is doing his best to work that out. I agree, the "this site is updated once a week" should be removed if it is indeed not true. If you truly have a complaint though, why don't you write to the braincash network to voice your opinion. They are the ones who host/update the sites. We are lucky to get comments and answers to our questions which is more than most producers would give.
That's my point, he needs more control and I said this months ago. Furthermore, I'm not lodging complaints and have no intention on doing so because I'm not a member, (thought it was rather clear I'm not a member). Just voicing my opinion that it's not helping his reputation and that I side with the members here who are complaining. I feel their frustration when they are told they'll get updates once a week and when they ask what's going on at SC, BI replies by stating his financial difficulties with RLD. That has nothing to do with updates at SC and no breaks are deserved when you get fed answers like that, IMO.
I'm sorry to let members (and even non-members) down. I'm doing the best I can and will continue to try to improve. I am struggling to maintain the schedule as it is and taking on the responsibility of one title a month with JM Productions does not help at the moment. No checks have bounced yet and I truly do appreciate the support. Don't worry about keeping a membership if you feel you are not getting $29.95 worth of content. My example of the 30 updates for www.loadmymouth.com in November was only to show something that exceeded expectations. Some people appreciated it. Others didn't. I understand both sides. The cost of the most recent www.spermcocktail.com update featuring 2 girls fucking 8 guys is significant to me and I will do my best to putting out more like it. I gave the example of what my Platinum X royalty check was for September merely to put things in perspective. The check for the month based on owning 44 titles was less than $800, a figure below what many women charge for a single boy-girl scene. I have obviously made mistakes in this business and will try to learn from them.

That's missing the point, nobody is bitching " about Brandon and his $$$". People are unhappy with the lack of updates at SC because it states "THIS SITE IS UPDATED ONCE A WEEK". That's all this is about. Not about money owed to Brandon from RLD or Platinum X. I'm sorry about that and certainly feel everyone is entitled to get paid for the work they do. But if this were a court, the lawyer would jump up and say "Objection, Irrelevant." It doesn't matter if it's a 7-11, Microsoft or porn. If you hold two or three of those jobs and customers complain that the slurpee machine is empty; explaining to them that you didn't get a paycheck at your other porn job doesn't quite quench their thirst for slurpee's. However, if you need the money from your porn job to buy the ingredients for the slurpee machine and not getting paid, then that could be a viable excuse. But Brandon has never came out and said the reason for the lapse in updates at SC is due to a lack of funds needed to produce the material. At least not to my knowlege he hasn't. He's told us he's sent in a number of updates and said he'd look into why they're not getting put up at SC. Perhaps there is a direct correlation between owed funds from RLD and the sparse updates at SC. Maybe Brandon just doesn't want to admit this to us. Who knows? Maybe he just doesn't have the capital to fund enough SC scenes to keep it at the pace of once a week updates. Someone who reads between the lines of his prior posts may conclude his ranting about RLD indicates such is the case. But I suspect that's not the sitch. Because if he was unable to produce scenes due to lack of capital, why 30 updates at LMM? I suppose one explanation could be improper allocation of funds, directing too large a sum to LMM and too little to SC (after all he obviously gets more personal satisfaction from LMM). Wow, I may be onto something! But seriously, those are all mere speculations on my part. I'll say it again, my point is he needs more control over when his content is uploaded to SC (and perhaps control over how much funds are allocated to LMM). Until the updates problem is fixed by either him or the fine folks that run the braincash website, members will complain. And the longer the problem persists the more likely his reputation could suffer. Long story short; while we all know the frustration of money owed to us, financial problems occurring at a separate place of employment does not explain the internal short-comings at SC. Resolving these issues in a timely manner is highly advised and will make his loyal fans happy campers again. Kindest regards, Terra

Bang on Terra, but the part i don't get is he has already shot the scenes for SC but for some reason their not being posted on the site. I'm starting to think he's going to use them in the new JM dvd's.
I do find a lot of BrainCash's other content to be boring. Brandon's is definitely the most exceptional stuff on there (although Bruno B. is entertaining, even when inept). I agree, though, that the only way to keep it interesting for fans of his oral/group-themed series is to basically keep the mopes lined up around the block ... the new stuff with Nika and Hollie was killer. Does the site offer enough group scenes every month to equal a 3-hour Brandon DVD? If you join and the quit, I think you get a discount offer that's about the cost of a new DVD. ($15? 19?) ... If Cover My Face and Sperm Cocktail reloaded every week with new content, then that would be a good deal. If not, then you have to decide whether or not Brandon's scenes are worth your coin more so than Jake Malone's scenes or Mike John's scenes or Von Swine's Nasty.com scenes or Darkko's scenes or those by other mope enablers.
Brandon, first of all the scene with Miss Kitty and Emma was great! And with 8 guys we can also say that the "huge cocktails" re comming back. I like SC. Even if the site is just updated one time in two weeks (mostly). You guys have to think how expensive these updates are. If you dont want to pay those 30 bucks why dont you just quit and wait about 2 months. Then rejoin and youre gettin like 4-5 updates for 30$. The only thing I dont get, Brandon, is why youre making so much updates for loadmymouth. Sometimes almost one update per day!! Why dont you put more effort in SC? Also for loadmymouth we're seeing thousands of updates in the "upcomming updates" page but for SC theres like one update...I belive you that youre doing youre best but please give us some more previews. cheers
Despite sympathizing with Brandon, I have to agree with TerraS; her analogy with the moonlighting slurpee-maker is apt. To the paying fan, the excuses are irrelevant. And besides, how many customers has Braincrap/Brandon Iron lost that never read his tales of woe on AdultDVDTalk? They probably think he is like every other porn-hack on the internet (which I don't believe he is). We can argue back and forth on this or we can move on. I am spending Saturday, December 15th, and Sunday, December 16th, doing absolutely nothing other than editing updates. The reason www.loadmymouth.com is updated frequently is because I have over 150 scenes shot. They were supposed to go out in the past year as 50 to 1 vols. 5 and 6 but things changed. The site was launched last December and I wanted to make it the best it could be. It has improved steadily. The same will be for spermcocktail.com. That's all I can say. Back to work!

Hi, i cant understand why Jersey Jaxin wasnt edit yet after two years. Did Jersey Jaxin scene a fisco ? Did the first time i have the suspect what the promises were very optimst at least. Hi Peter, No, there are no more Baker's Dozen dvds from me. I am no longer with Platinum X and decided to start new lines at my new home. Maybe you wouldn't get criticized if you would at least explain why there have been 3 updates to SC in 2 months!! Then you have the balls to say "feel free to move on" to a customer [shakeshead] surly if you can lie your ass off you can handle a little criticism. My problem is i read your blog for 3 months now and you show scenes/girls stateing "coming to spermcocktail.com soon". If you shot the scenes and if appears you did why didn't you tell the paying customers the coming soon will be months away? now a bunch of people feel ripped off because you have not been honest about the updates. Instead of patronising your paying customers with just "move on" at least be a man and explain where these scenes are that were shot and promised. I for one would have no problem if it was explained. When you explain what happened to the scenes you shot months ago it'll give you a little credibility, whats the big deal in explaining what happened to those..they do exist right? If you decided to put them on a DVD for JM just say so and be done with it instead of sucking in your fans to buy a membership thats not updated with the content you promissed. And GGG sucks donkey nuts because of DRM.

Things can always improve and I'm going to keep trying harder. As anyone who is self-employed knows, working for yourself isn't a 9-5 thing. To recap the past 24 hours, I did some editing, mailed updates to Braincash, shot an update for www.covermyface.com that had close to 30 people on set, saw "The Great Debaters", dropped a load for an upcoming friend's release, and had some coffee. What's not worth going into is the photocopying of the model releases, calling all the guys, booking the location and girl, getting $100 of snacks/drinks for the bukkake mob, running artwork to a graphic designer for February's release, picking up printing from the dvd insert printer, paying that bill, writing a bunch of talent checks for the shoot, and doing the scene with Aliana Love. I know it's all about time management, of course, but please don't think I'm on vacation. I am doing my best to make this work....and it will, too!
When deciding on which movie to see over the Holidays, I picked this one, not knowing anything about it, but knowing that Denzel doesn't make a bad movie..
