Since Black Coffee has been very, very quiet, almost as if she hasn't been around in a long time, and her list of Golden Age Classics available on DVD has fallen woefully out of date, I present Part 3 of the list. This list is meant to encompass all of the films released from 1972 through 1984, commonly known as the Golden Age of Adult Films, that are available on DVD. Just because a film is on the list, doesn't mean that it is a great film as there were some stinkers produced back then too. When known, I have also tried to make a notation that a film has been edited from the original version. For details on the editing, you can try checking the reviews available as many reviewers when they know what is missing state it in their reviews. You can also search the forums as there have been many threads about whether a film has been edited or not. If you are interested in whether a title has been edited for it's release or not and there are no reviews available or the available reviews are inconclusive, you can check out Blake Fan's list of Golden Age Classics. Many of the titles that are marked as Lost Classics, when released on DVD, are edited. As of now I think that the listings for all the companies are complete, however I'm sure that I have missed some that have been released and that have been edited. If you know of a title that isn't represented on the list from one of these companies let me know so I can update the list. If you know that a title has been edited and it isn't appropriately marked, let me know so I can update that listing as well.

DVD release is in 2001 but have no idea on production year. IAFD does not list this in it's database.
Overall, the video and audio transfer is good. I have seen some classics that I regreted picking up because of bad video (eg. Centerspread Girls). Story is acceptable and sex is good. Got to see some good close ups. This movie is recommended for quality and price.
Also, these 4 classics are hard to find. The few stores that carry them are adult video universe but I was hoping to get it from Laser's Edge or Five Star.

Since Flash seems to want to limit the period of Golden Age Classics from 1972 through 1984, this film has no business in the list. It was produced in either 1994 or 1995.

Wow, Flash nice list. I went searching to find some more classics that fit your criteria but at last I failed. I love the Classics. So, if you can bundle all of those classic DVDs into one price I will take them....lol!
I forgot to mention, when you have a case like this where you are watching a title, but it isn't in ADT's directory but an affiliate has it, if you e-mail Steph, she'll add it to the directory so it is easier to watch.
Thanks Barrybrn, much credit goes to Black Coffee though as I used her old list as a starting point, so I only had to do a few years worth of updating. I wish I had all these titles to bundle, I hate to say it, but my classic colletion pales in comparison to this list.
Can add "Bordello... House of the Rising Sun". According to this link. But iafd.com says it was released in 1983 but the site for the link states 1985?????
Barrybrn: That title, along with many others like In Love, aren't listed on my list because they don't appear to be studio releases. Apparently Excalibur has the permission of several companies to make their own releases, which from what I've heard are just DVD-R's off of a video tape, of their titles. For instance, IAFD lists Essex as the original distributor for Bordello, TVX appears to have obtained the rights to Essex's old catalog and the rights to TVX's films are currently held by VCX. VCX hasn't released Bordello yet. If and when VCX releases Bordello I'll add it to the list then. A good way to find out if it is an Excalibur release or a real release is to see if any other stores carry it. If no one else does, chances are it is one of the DVD-R's that Excalibur is making themselves. The only exception is I have included Sex Wars on the list, even though Excalibur is the only place carrying it, since IAFD lists Excalibur as the owner of the film so I'll consider that one a studio release.
I don't know about their current practice, but at least several years ago they refused to admit they sold them as DVD-R's. They referred to them as 'Excalibur Exclusives' only and at the time when I bought one I didn't have any equipment that could read a DVD-R. They must have sent me seven copies of the title, which I kept returning stating that I couldn't read DVD-R titles, before I got my money back on the title. They final statement on the matter was something to the effect that some customers will experience problems with Excalibur exclusive titles on older equipment.
Let me start off by commending you on your work on the updated list, Flash. It is about time that the list was revised and updated. Bravo! However, I'd like to point out a few errors.
First, Black Coffee is around; she has just been silent. Secondly, you referred to the list as "his list." Why do you assume that I am a man? Thirdly, the three films you've chosen to exclude do, in fact, belong on the list. I have seen all three and can verify that the cast listings on the box art are incorrect. These films are "classic titles" I claimed them to be.
Side Note: A truly wonderful film that is missing from your list is The Image (1975), aka The Punishment of Anne by Radley Metzger (Henry Paris). Last year Synapse Films released an uncensored version of the film with a pristine transfer and an isolated music score track. A must have for any Golden Age fan.

I do have a question regarding an old movie (ok, I am not too sure whether it´s an Golden Age or a Silver Age movie, but I´ll ask anyway):
The girl is Sioban Hunter and the guy is Ron Jeremy. Far as I remember, it was some kind of fairy-tale porn, with Sioban being at least the female co-star of that movie (I believe Jeanette Littledove was in that flick too, but again, I am not too sure), and the scene ended up with some nice anal sex.
What movie would that be from? Is it avail as DVD? Did Sioban Hunter perform any other anal scenes?

"Pretty, Cute, Beautiful" are looks, or properly aesthetics. It strikes a much different chord in males. That is about attraction.
The women in the Golden Age were very rarely very good looking. It was a different time, and pornography was much less tolerated. Nowadays there are an overabundance of beautiful women willing to get naked on film.
But the Golden Age had some of the sexiest women alive. CJ Laing, Desiree Cousteau, Veronica Hart, Juliet Anderson, Lisa Deleeuw, Vanessa DelRio, Seka, Nina Harley, to name just a few. And perhaps the sexiest of all time -- Marilyn Chambers.
Beautiful? Not really. Sexy? Hell yes!!!

I do find some women who are not neccessarily beautiful in the asthetic sense very sexy. Jeana Fine and Jill Kelly at times are perfect examples. But in general certain looks do not appeal to me therefore, whether they are great sexual performers is irrelevant. I think if you ask female talent what attracts them to males in porn they would share your attitude. Lucky for us because some of those guys we find revolting to watch have sex. I hate to say it and I wish it was untrue, but that's how I feel.
Jill KellY I find often overcaked with makeup and strangel looking but her sexual prowess is absolutely amazing and gives me wood all the time. I also find this is true for some black actreeses. If a women has some good features and expresses an amazing sexual prowess I can overlook their features I find unntractive. Pebbles is one classic case. The sista is kinda of hefty, has some sensous features but not the type of girl I would usually fanstasize about but when she is on film I find that she exudes amazing sexuality.
Bottom line: Some women who can talk elegantly nasty and have a very sexy graon when getting done can turn me on.

That question I don't know the answer to. I would assume that they do their own, mostly due to the small volume of stores that carry their titles, but I could be wrong.

The picture quality for the Excalibur dvd of Essex's "Fleshdance" is fantastic...incidentally, this is one of my all-time favorites because of the butt-dancing by Shana Evans..hence making it one of my favorite dvd release for the golden age era (I'm assuming that 1983 is Golden Age) By the way, I noticed that other films/videos originally released by Essex have great DVD transfer : Bob Chinn's "Body Girls" (euro dvd release only ?) and McCallum's "Beverly Hills Exposed" (Excalibur again) come to mind...

I'm working on the March updated and I was looking through the new releases from Caballero and I found three titles that I couldn't identify so I was wondering if anyone here might be able to identify which films they really are.
The first film is called "Hot Line" and has no listed cast members and the description states, "If it's hot and steamy sex you are looking for, you've cum to the right place. Just when phone sex don't cut it anymore. Now you want the real thing." There are two American films with this name at IAFD but neither one has a listed distributor of Caballero or Vidco. The second film is called "Caresses" and has a listed cast of Diane Price, Lucy Gill and Ericka Kool and has a description of, "Lust at first sight." The names sound fictional as Caballero tends to do with their releases of European films. Link to cover.
The third film is called "Young Head Nurses" and has a listed cast of Little Oral Annie and has a description of, "If you've got the fever Little Oral Annie has the cure. Old school porn legend Little Oral Annie stars in this fiery romp, playing one of a carnally crazed crew of buxom nurses who like nothing better than getting to the bottom of their patients' problems. The flick is a French production, filled with foxy Gallic girls who's faces were rarely seen on these shores. I have seen a video called Hotline . Directed by Anthony Spinelli in 1980. It did star John Leslie, who is on the cover. The female stars I have noted down, are Jessie St. James, Pat Manning, Cody Nicole and Nicole Noir.Erika Cool is a French starlet from the 70s. The movie you are looking for, is probably Caresses inavouables .

Wodgers, is Fleshdance the one with Tanya Lawson and Jerry Butler? Or maybe I'm confusing it with Flashpants. Can't remember which one I've seen, the titles are screwing with me tonight. But I love the one with Lawson, she's pretty good-looking. Now if only I could see "First Time at Cherry High" released on DVD. And "T and A Team" for that matter. Both have great Lawson scenes.
Maybe somebody of you, friends, knows if there are some releases of Nancy Blue, or other titles featuring Kandi Barbour, as Young, Wild and Wonderful and so on. I'm fond of such Golden Age actress, but I find that only a few of her films have been released in dvd. Thanks for all informations in advance.

I did one hell of an update, two months worth, today. I also have now marked all Classic X Collection titles as OOP in the listing as the company doesn't appear to be around anymore and stores seem to be slowly dropping their titles completely.
You missed 'Hot Teenage Assets', 'Sensual Encounters of Every Kind' and 'Trashy Lady' from TVX.
And I think the 3 "Josefine Mutzenbacher - Wie Sie Wirklich War" titles shouldn't point to the edited Caballero version anymore, since Herzog has brought out new uncut English language versions of them.
Since it hasn't been made sticky yet, I managed to sneak Hot Teenage Assets and Sensual Encounters of Every Kind into the update. Trashy Lady misses by a year as it is a 1985 release.
I considered having the Herzog releases listed on the list as well as the edited Caballero versions but decided not to as they are PAL releases. I'm trying to keep the list so that the majority of readers can view the films on it. That's the same reason the Alpha Blue release of Parties Fines isn't listed. I considered for a while making a seperate list for European classic releases, but due to cost reasons I see so little of them and I don't have the resources available to me nor the knowledge to keep it updated as well as I keep this one updated.
It's too old for the list but I figured you all might be interested to know that Caballero has released Alex de Renzy's 1970 film A History of the Blue Movie on DVD.
VXP is slowly releasing their catalog on DVD, usually three a month although they didn't release any in the last month, so it could show up. However I expect if it does it will be edited.

I could never call either Kimberly Carson or Karen Summer beautiful...but when I see them give "that look" to a guy, well...it's WOODY time! Gad, both of those women were sexy beyond belief in their old films.
Great work Flash, this list is a fantastic thing to have. It's very much appreciated. Also, there are two films on the list, Female Chauvenists and Love Slaves, released by Something Weird. I was wondering if anyone knows if these are dvd-r editions of titles from their VHS catalogue, or if they've finally been able to start releasing their hardcore stuff officially on dvd? I looked on their site but didn't really come up with anything.
They are both DVD-R versions from their VHS releases. From what I understand there is little chance they will release any hardcore films officially on DVD in the future.
Okay, thanks again. That's too bad, it would be glorious if they could. They do a really good job with their other stuff. I still can't help but hope that someday he'll put out 3 hour adult double features with odd loops and reels and trailers and stuff.
