I'm sad to report that the yellow covered "remastered" version of Deep Throat is not remastered but is the same exact disc as what was contained in the black covered release. The only difference is the cover and silk screening on the disc.

I received my copy of Subversive's Alice in Wonderland and it is a definite upgrade from the earlier Arrow release. There are only two versions on the disc, the X-rated version and the XXX rated version. The X-rated version looks the best that I have ever seen it. The XXX rated version is a composite print and the XXX material isn't in the best shape, however it looks superior to the Arrow release. The run times are 1 hour and 12 minutes for the X rated version and 1 hour and 18 minutes for the XXX version. The Arrow version runs for 1 hour and 14 minutes. My old VHS copy has deteriorated so I can't tell how long it ran anymore.

I received Blow Dry today and the video isn't the greatest, it looks like it was taken from a video master instead of a film master and it looks washed out.

I'm trying to get a hold of the OOP I-Candy release. Does anyone have one I could purchase? Also, is another studio going to release Exhausted on dvd again?

Exhausted, which I believe is actually released through a division of I-Candy, went out of print about 3 or 4 years back and then went back into print. I don't know if it will happen again. I think at the current time most I-Candy titles are out of print and I'm hoping they all go back on the market as they are nice discs and I'm still missing a couple of them.

I'm halfway through the February update. There are tons of Alpha Blue Archives titles, although they haven't been optioned to stores yet, a bunch more Gourmet titles and some scattered Caballero, VCA, Halo Park, Video-X-Pix and After Hours Cinema titles in the complete update.

There really isn't anywhere that I know of. Their advertised web site doesn't exist. I pull their releases off of Ryko Distribution's web site, which just has box covers. They have 3 releases so far, Blow Dry, which I thought was a very disappointing transfer, Emanuelle Goes to Cannes, which is a softcore release that I haven't seen, and Naked and Lustful, which is upcoming. Naked and Lustful was a hardcore film so it will appear when I finish the second portion of the list, that doesn't guarantee their release will be hardcore though.

Just be aware the ABA likes to bug their releases and often masters then off bootleg VHS tapes that look so bad they're unwatchable.
That said, they do carry lost of great stuff.

Yeah, I know the quality often stinks from ABA, but they are often the only ones putting the films out on DVD, so I'll take what I can get.

It appears that I-Candy has a new release coming out which means they may do another printing of their old titles that have been out of print. No guarantee, just wanted to let you know.

It doesn't look like much of their catalog is being utilized right now, it looks like some titles are available through VOD. If you go to IAFD's distributor page you can see titles that are available. The ones that linked to a DVD that I checked linked to a different version of the title, but I didn't check them all.

Thanks Flash. Man I wish they would come out on DVD. There are a lot of performers on them that are not being seen due to lack of availability.

Hi,
I've got a hard question. I'm trying to find a film I saw when I was 16 back in 1986. now the problem is that my dad had the movie and had blanked both the title and the end credits, if they ever existed in the first place. The film had to have been done in the time frame of 1979-1985 with a very small cast that never seemed to do anything else, or were forigen. The film was extreemly low budget in the way it looked, like the walls of the set were done with plywood and wall paper and they mostly kept it to one or two rooms. with strange stills like a close up on a flower vase, or the wall paper. opening shot was a spanish man whit a dark haried spanish woman with DD's who was his wife. his best friend is possibly french shows up and does the girl then the two of them go to a coffee house and see two waitresses, Blond. shot goes to the two blonds as lesbains and the two men then break in and have sex with them, and that is the movie. Two male leads one french one spanish three female leads one spanish two blonds french or european with c cups both.
Just crious if this sounds fimilure to anyone and if anyone else has seen it.
only line that anyone would remember from the film is "Get your hand out of their. Move your hand."
and one of the two blonds is such a cute french maid type and just looking at her face is enough to drive you nuts.
Can anyone tell me the title of the movie?
(P.S. sorry about spelling I'm Dyslexic)

No sorry, doesn't sound familiar to me. The blanking of the title/credits is common among older films that have been stolen and shown by other theaters.

I was just able to buy a new copy of Plato's Retreat West, which as been out of print for a while. I don't know if someone found a box somewhere or if they made another run of them. If they made another run of them they may do another run of Exhausted and you may find it showing up in stores again in the near future.

Great List.
I am in my late and saw a few of those (a very few really)
There is one movie from this era that I have been trying to identify for years.
It featured a weird guy in a room with a few girls and they were talking away. And they intorduced some scenes.
The scene I loved was a black/latina chick with a small afro hair do being interviewed by two white/mexican looking guys. She said she did not want to do porn. They they get stuck into her on a bed. One of them takes photos while the other one screws here and they take turns. The blow jobs were amazing for those days.
Can anyone ID this movie for me ?
Regards

Just a quick note about the Arrow DVD of Anthony Spinelli's Night Caller that was released earlier this year. It's the worst DVD I've ever seen. Unless I got a bad copy (which seems unlikely) the audio only comes out of one channel. The video is taken from a terrible quality VHS which is worse quality than the most awful transfers from Alpha Blue Archives. I have an old VHS of this film which is actually much better quality.
It's a shame because the film is amazing and in my opinion one of Spinelli's best.

That release is bizarre, I have an old boot that must have been taken from VHS and they look like they used the same source for this legit release!
You'd think Spinelli's son would make sure these were released properly, too bad Anthony Spinelli isn't around to make sure himself.

Arrow might not even have a print to make a new transfer from.
Sadly when the mob lost control of it, many of the film elements were dumped.
This has resulted in a great many of the Bryanston elements being destroyed as well.
