I applied some server updates early in the morning of 3/2. Something in the updates changed a fundamental way that the website connects to the database server. This was overwhelming the connection pool causing a cascade of timeouts. Thankfully I made a backup right before applying the updates. It took a while this morning to do the restore process.

I didn't lose any info in the database. That's fine. However we did lose some box covers and use image uploads. I should be able to recover those from a newer backup later today.
