This syringe had some sharp edges that probably didn't feel comfortable, when it was pushed against the lady's asshole. The lube injection device you found on Amazon is actually better and probably cheaper than the one they used in the film. Because Mike Adriano used a medical syringe that wasn't made for this purpose. Also, from my own personal experience I can say that when the K-Y Gel dries out, then adding some water rather than more K-Y Gel works best. Because the Gel is still there.
