Does Evil Angel own the distribution rights to "(The Adventures of) Buttwoman" and/or "Buttwoman 2: Buttwoman Behind Bars"?

If so, are there any plans on the horizon to release either or both of them on DVD?

sorry - didn't come on the site during AEE week.

No - those movies were taken by Bruce's widow and sold off pathetically to other companies.

This is so sad. I've been hoping someone would release the "Takin' it to the Limit" series on DVD.

Thanks for your response, Tricia.

Pathetic indeed, given that those movies haven't seen the light of day since Bianca took them back from Evil Angel.

Do you know which company she sold them to, Tricia?

Some of them were released by a company called Nu Tech Digital, although most (or all) may now be out of print and their availability may be limited to stock on hand. Check out the ADT Price Search.

To my mind, the movies that Bruce Seven directed that were originally distributed by Evil Angel (under its Elegant Angel imprint, before that "label" was acquired from Evil Angel by Patrick Collins) represent Seven's very best all-girl work, especially "(The Adventures of) Buttwoman".

To me, it's not about which company they were sold to, I was referencing that they've been sold about 3 different times to different companies. At one point they were with Nu Tech. I think they have also been with Devil's Films and with Pleasure.

Hey Tricia, not to wander off topic, but I just wanted to tell you that Fashionistas performance at the awards show was as good (if not better) than anything I've seen on Broadway.

I'm not sure why I asked, really. I sometimes have a fantasy of rescuing Bruce Seven's Evil/Elegant Angel titles from oblivion. It's absurd of course, given that I have no way to distribute them and, even if I did, there probably wouldn't be enough interested consumers to make it remotely worthwhile as a stand-alone endeavor.

Me, a would-be Don Quixote of porn . . . what a concept!

The next time that you are in Vegas, you should make an effort to go see the entire show. Every number is outstanding.

NuTech Digital stopped releasing XXX titles and all their previous releases are now out of print.

How much can they really be worth if they've already been sold (I assume we're really talking about licensed) to three different companies? I bet you could buy them outright for cheaper than you might think.

What a shame! Adventures of Buttwoman is perhaps the most erotic movie ever! I'd love to have the DVD. Tianna, Porsche, and Heather Hart - one of the greatest scenes ever. Tianna and Trixie - almost as good.

Maybe if enough people want this, someone will make it available.

Bionca? What happened to her is she still directing? I thought she was with EXP.

That relationship is long over, Ramsey. I think she might have directed two or three movies for them, but that's it.

So I guess she's gone from the scene? I personally really miss the Buttslammers serie, in my opinion it was the best serie at that time when Bruce Seven was directing it. He really knew which girls to cast and I really loved the dance stuff in it. The Buttslammers serie was the very definition of how girl/girl should be shot.
