Terri, I think a bigger problem is that each generation of whores doesn't bother to educate themselves on the industry's past. Take someone like a Mia Rose, Ashley Jensen, or Bree Olson (not to say any of them do or have done creampies), were any of them aware of the Darren James and/or Marc Wallace incidents of years passed?
If they weren't, I can understand why they put themselves through these kind of circus acts just to make a living. Such performers may not quite understand that porn isn't a fantasy, and that such behaviors are risky to their health.
On that note, I believe alot of the industry (especially spectators) seems to have an affliction that porn is one big fantasy. That's why they ignore the realities of it, either intentionally (ignorance) or inadvertantly (not the brightest bulb in the box). For performers - The glitz, the glamour, the big payday - all for sucking/fucking dick, all consequences are rendered as "oh well", until the reality sets in that they can't have children because of a serious infection, or they're going to die in the worst case scenario.
