I have a question...is anyone else having trouble getting their tapes/DVDs delivered because of the state you live in? Utah for years has been shut down, I know. I'm in Alabama though and while it's always been an uptight area sexually I've never had problems before getting stuff mailed in. I hadn't ordered anying for a few months though, concentrating on my mainstream collection, and I find out today that the place I had been doing business with wouldn't ship here any longer and I check around and AdultDVDEmpire, Five Star and Excalibur have also cut off mailings here due to the "laws" of the area which I don't think have changed since the last time I received an order. WTF?!? Does *anyone* still ship to this freaking state? Are there any store reps on here that can comment? Are there any ways of getting around it? [Link] |

We went through a lot of angst when we first opened over this issue. After a lot of trial and error, we came up with a list of 6 states and 3 cities where we won't ship. Bill  All-Star Member 5334 Posts 6/00 | Posted - Jun 5 2002 : 11:08PM This guy has invited Christian ministers to his courtroom to open jury sessions with a prayer, refuses to treat people of other religions with any respect, has overturnes a lower court decision regarding child custody case and given this child to an abusive father because the mother was in a relationship with another woman. In this case he wrote an opinion that stated that homosexuality is an "inherent evil against which children must be protected". When someone like this is the head of the Supreme Court of a state, I wouldn't ship to that state if I were a retailer either. [Link] |
