I think their web design is good,
I can see the catalog with DVD covers,
not the others only the title list.
The nice one is the screenshot logo for the title which
has the screenshot.

I wish they have some good deals and international shipping rate.

No shipping rate information available at their store,
it will only appear when put an order and check out .

Hello,
Thank you for expressing your concern on Action-DVD.com International shipping rates. We’re currently in a process of negotiating a better deal with USPS and some other providers. New shipping rates along with a new online customer care system will be employed in a matter of weeks. So, please stay tuned.

Two suggestions:
1. Large covers needs to be in one window; not a window
for every click. Very annoying trying to close all of
the windows.
2. Large covers needs to be a little larger. Good rule of
thumb to follow is this: I should be able to read the
text of a larger covers.

from osiris4isis:
They charge the UPS zone based shipping rate based on the shipping destination. They are using UPS book rates (no discount) which are significantly higher than most adult DVD stores' standard shipping rates.

I think I will wait until USPS. UPS don't deliver to PO Boxes.

Announcement!!!

Action-DVD.com has recently (June 7th) launched new features: such as customer account, which includes wish list and favorites, tractable order system and flat shipping rates.

Shipping rates are available at the following URL:
action-dvd.com shipping rates

International shipping prices have been dropped; however, since we use USPS Global Express Mail, which is insurable and track-able on-line, the prices are not the lowest, but reasonable and compatible.

International shipping starts at $24.95 for first 4 items. Add $1.10 per each additional item.

As all of you know, there are certain problems shipping overseas related to customs. In order to protect our customers and the merchant, we have chosen if not the cheapest but the most reliable method on the US market.

Droleg - that's good news. I'll be sure to update your shipping rates in our order comparison.

I ordered from them shortly after they became an affiliate and they were great. Quick shipping and decent packing.

Hi droleg,

Thank you for the update.

Fyi, according to my shopping experiences,
USPS is not as good as others courier.

Their tracking system is really bad,
it just say "outside US" with no update until
the package is recieved so they update as "delivered". :(

UPS, FedEX, and DHL are better than them imho.

If you concern to international customer,
I think you should add more shipping options.

Other store could provide 2 or more shipping methods.

Looking forward for your reply.

Thank you.

Are you sure you´ve been looking from the right tracking service? I got my first package sent using EMS just fortnight ago, and after it had left Hong kong it was adequately present in the tracking pages of Finland Post Corporation.

I started to place an order the other day but cancelled it when I got to the shipping rate information. I have a PO boxes so UPS shipping doesn't work for me. I prefer companies that ship (or at least have the option at a reasonable cost) USPS. I've had too many packages delivered but not received by me.
