If you read the fine print - you will realize she wants to be in control of sets she is on. It's not so much a retirement as it is setting the bar higher so there's no on set issues or unreasonable demands placed on her or she's not treated in a fashion that she doesn't like etc. Like a number of performers, she wants to direct so she has total control.

Blame it on shady studios - she said it herself that she didn't feel comfortable on sets that she wasn't in control of. The industry is going to lose ALOT of top talent by not policing itself to the point where EVERYONE feels at home working with them.

Whilst I am sad to hear that she has retired from mainstream, I would like to thank Adria for the many amazing scenes during her time in the industry. I also wish her all the best with her Only Fans scenes, even if I'm not going to be seeing them myself.
