Today. everything is uploaded. We had to add another array to our current setup to handle encoding. They failed over to the other array and the new array is being built and will be done soon. What does this mean in lamens terms?

Basically, the backing up/fast retrieval of data (redudancy) is configured on the disks in a certain arrangment. This failed, so a new one configuration had to be rebuilt. This may be known as a RAID type configuration.
