I recently ordered Feeding Frenzy form Adult DVD Empire and selected Standard Shipping, the order was shipped today and I was wondering how long does standard shipping take? I live in New Jersey and they ship from Pennsylvania I believe. Thanks in advance.

They are right next to you, give it a couple of days. Were you expecting anything less?

Standard shipping is "Media Mail". That's a subset of 3rd class mail. Typically, using Media Mail includes a process that would one companies Media Mail packages with those of other companies in order to accumulate enough volume of mail to individual zip codes so that it qualifies for maximum postage discounts.

Typically, this process takes a day or two before the packages actually get sent to the Post Office.

I'm on Long Island and typically expect to receive items shipped by Empire using standard shipping in 5-7 days.

With Empire, if you order 4 discs or more (I think it's 4), the shipping cost for Priority Mail is free (although the default shipping selected by Empire is still "standard"). When I go with Priority Mail, I always receive the package within 2 days. Sometimes (not often, I get it the next day).

I've ordered from them from two places: Texas and California. Took about a week to both destinations. Maybe a little less than 1 week to Texas.
