They slightly messed up my order, but they were quick to correct it in a manner that was not costly to me and was even beneficial to me. | sohosid New Member 2 Posts 10/00 | Posted - Oct 18 2000 : 3:11PM I've been using AdultDVDNow, because their packaging is great at beating UK customs, but their prices aren't that great (postage is around $15) I mailed DVD Explorer, and they said that they too packaged will for the UK, and not to worry and to order with confidence. It's been 3 weeks now, and the discs haven't arrived. AdultDVDNow's discs usually arrive in 3-5 days. Unless the discs arrive soon, it seems they have been bagged by customs. These include: Amazingtails - Very limited selection of titles. Expensive shipping costs. Lost 1 order to Customs in the past, but replaced using their Guaranteed Delivery Service. AdultDVDNow - IMHO the best supplier. Reliable with excellent customer service. Discs may appear more pricey but they have a Low Price Guarantee, so use ADT's 'Price Search'. I tend to order 3 discs at a time to share out the shipping costs. But if anyone in the UK has ordered from ADN will know that they make a lot of effort to ensure you receive your order safely. Yet to lose an order and all have arrived within 5 days. Lasersedge - Used them once without problem. Disc shipped with a 'Customs Declaration' on the front of the package which scared me off future orders. DVDBoxoffice - Canadian based company with a popular following in the UK for mainstream titles, now suppling adult. Free delivery is included. Service is very slow. 2 orders placed. 1 gone missing now since 9/10. They distribute from Europe but that is no guarantee your order has a better chance of arriving. DVDExtreme - They were my prefered supplier before I discovered ADN. I like the screen shots on their website. Very fast turn around, often dispatching the same day of order. Prices are not the cheapest and they could do with more 'sales' and 'specials'. Shipping costs are reasonable though at $7.50. [Link] |
