I have used AdultDVDMarketplace for a while now and just found out their customer service is HORRIBLE! I have not received DVD's from surprise surprise Filthy and have filled out 7 customer service slips in the past week and a half. Only one has been answered and that was 5 days ago and after I replied to it I never got a response. What a freaking joke! It really pisses me off when I can't speak to person on the phone or even have live chat. By the way it's been about a month and a half since a ordered the DVD's,
The only time I have ever had a problem, I emailed ADM with the complaint and it was resolved within a few hours. I usually stick with alldelight or some of the other exceptional rated ones and I don't usually have problems. But Filthydvds is one that usually causes the most problems with the buyers, So if the same dvd is being sold by someone else, it may save you some trouble if you buy from the other seller. EMS providers for ALT Porn!!!!
I like how on the web site it says all DVD's are "guaranteed" but it seems like Filthy has burned a lot of customers who have used them. I can't wait to hear their next excuse for not giving me a refund that is if they even get back to me. I'm sure they love Filthy over there because they make a commision off of every DVD they sell whether it's shipped or not. That's probably why it's so hard for me to get a refund. Rediculous!
Thanks for the info, everybody. If I remember correctly, once in the past I ordered from filthy dvds and it took about a month to finally receive my title which wasn't sent in the 2 days the site requires. It was sent like 3 1/2 weeks later, but at least I received it. Now I know to avoid AAA-XXX as well. The real reason I am writing is to give a big recommendation for 2 sellers on the site. Highly recommended are: Blaze123 SexyDVDs It turns out both of these sellers are in my area, but still, I ordered mid-Thursday morning and had these in hand at 2pm Saturday. I was shocked at the speed and efficiency. So again, I huge recommendation for these guys. I also ordered from QuickFlicks DVD and am sure that will be a good transaction. I'll let you know when I receive my order.
It took a mere 1 shipping day longer to receive my dvds from QuickFlicks_DVD. I'd say this was a successful ADM transaction, 3 sellers who did exceptional jobs on quick delivery. All of these are highly recommended on the site and I have to concur.
I finally got my refund but it took a lot of e-mails and considering I placed the order on September 12 and now it is October 31 it seems kind of rediculous.

Interesting interesting. Filthy DVD will not ship to me because I'm in TN. AAA-XXX will ! What's up with that? ADM please quit telling folks to not ship to TN !!!! Let them decide. Either that or offer a place we can put in an alternate shipping address. I have one in VA. Fuckenstein is indeed very slow. I have had luck in my emails to him however. DVD movies direct and All Delight are very fast to ship. I have bought from a lot of other sellers with no major problems but did get one of those no Tenn. shipment notices from SexDVDs today. You cannot understand how frustrated and angry this shit makes me. I live in the United States too damnit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also sell on ADM and have had no feedback whatsoever although I ship on the same or next day always first class mail with delivery confirmation.
Thanks for the vote of confidence, backdoorman. We're a small staff here at DVD Movies Direct, but we try to keep everything running smoothly. Unfortunately, lately (in the past year or so) alot of studios have kept their stock on titles way down close to the bone, and it's been backorder hell for everyone. All the best from us! Love, Lisa
DVD Direct and Millenium Movies are good. I recently had a large order with them and one movie was backordered but they made me aware when I was sent my other movies. A lot of other sellers I noticed leave you hanging until you contact them. Alldelight DVD'sDirect Millenium SexyDVD's are all on my fave seller list

DVD Movies Direct really sucks. First they sent me the wrong DVD so I sent it back via their instructions. Two weeks later, STILL NO REFUND! Thanks alot guys for stealing my money~!
The moment we receive the returned movie an immediate refund is automatically issued through our returns clerk. This is done on a daily basis as long as there's mail being delivered. There was no mail today, Veteran's Day, so perhaps we'll receive it back tomorrow. I can personally assure you we do not steal anyone's money. Please feel free to email me directly if you haven't received a refund within a few days (dvdmoviedirect@aol.com). Thank you. Love and kisses, Lisa

Problem with a new seller: ExtremePleasures. But, from the email I received from them, I'm wondering what's going on at ADM. I sent them an email 2 days ago requesting status on an order, and this is the reply I received: "adultdvdmarketplace owes us over $5000 and any orders that have not been shipped will not be shipped, those that were have been recalled if they have not already been delivered by the shipping company. I would suggest you apply for a refund and if you still want the titles at those prices we will honor them but you will have to deal directly with us." Obviously, there are two sides to every story, but man, what the heck is going on over there? This really makes me question using ADM going forward.
^ You could be right. But, I've bought a number of DVDs from AAA-XXX and they came from California, whereas Filthy was shipping from NY last time I bought from him. Also, I haven't had near the problems with AAA-XXX as I did with Filthy. Now, to be sure, I know Filthy was selling under at least one other user name a couple of years ago, because I remember getting tricked into buying from him. But that was a long time ago and I don't know what that user name was. It's probably changed anyway.
Unfortunately some sellers are listing products that they think are on a distributor's shelf somewhere. The package might ship from CA/NJ/NC but you're still dealing with the same person. Thankfully ADM has taken steps recently to discourage sellers from listing products that they aren't 100% sure are available from the distributor. I think over time this will correct the problems some shoppers are experiencing with hard to find DVDs.
Hello - This is Erin from ADM Customer Service. I noticed the posting about a recently terminated seller, Extreme Pleasure. This seller was actually terminated after posting hundreds of titles on the site, and not shipping a single one. We caught on to this about half-way through the month of November after we started getting dozens of complaints from sellers. After numerous emails and attempts to contact him, we never heard a word from him and had to close the account. Because he failed to ship these orders, we obviously had to refund everyone and therefore have no reimbursement to send him! This has only happened a few times on ADM where sellers start selling DVDs at this magnitude and end up being fraudulent. If you ever suspect you may have been victim of this, let us know immediately and we will investigate. We try hard to ensure this never happens, and our priority is to resolve these types of scams immediately. Customer feedback is the main source of this process! If you have any other questions, feel free to let me know! Erin :)
Just to comment on their customer service, I contacted ADM about Extreme Pleasures yesterday and they have already refunded my card for the purchase. As far as I'm concerned that's excellent service.
Anybody hear of this place Coastal Direct? They have a bunch of listings but something about them seems fishy. They are brand new so if anybody buys something from them feedback about the transaction would be appreciated.
They might be legit however I suspect they are not. They are selling a DVD that I haven't seen being sold anywhere for a while. It was bought this morning and they already have another copy up for sale. I'm waiting on them until I see some feedback show up.
That is what caught my attention. I saw they were selling stuff on my wish list but it looked too good to be true because nobody had that item. I will wait before I place an order with them because it looks very off.
Coastal Direct seems very fishy to me also. They list many impossible to find titles at premium prices. Emailed them a few days ago. The response was "be patient, we are overloaded with orders this time of year". Have two titles on order with them. Very, very curious to hear from anyone with experience with them.
Update: Coastal Direct has refunded on a recent order. Their claim "..not aware these titles were out of print when listed on ADM's website". Maybe they are not as much dishonest as stupid. ADM has been a great resource for my collecting. Congregates a lot of vendors in one area.
Does anyone have the phone number to AdultDVDMarketplace.com? I have sent them several emails and zero response from them. No, I have no problems with spam filters...we run our own email servers. No log entries are recorded from adm at all. ADM also does not publish any address for postal delivery at all. They do not publish a phone number. And their customer service email addresses seem to deliver their incoming mail to a black hole. After a week of zero responses, I have cancelled all of my listings. Wally
Hi Wally. If you email erin@adultdvdmarketplace.com she will gladly help you. Whenever I need to reach them I use that email and I always get a response within a day or two. Erin and her crew are great. We had a customer call the other day and was literally shocked that we answer the phone live during business hours. If anyone needs to reach us, regarding orders placed with us through the Marketplace, feel free. We're always here to help. Thanks for the information, Lisa. It seems that Erin decided to cancel my account on AdultDVDMarketPlace.com due to the posting here on ADT. I sincerely doubt that I will see a penny of the money of the videos that we sold. Seems that ADM has no desire to provide any customer service, and if you have the audacity to ask Erin if she is going to respond to customer service emails, your account is terminated. Wally
I just tried out ADM for the first time the other day after not being able to find some titles at my usual online spot. But I have a question: If I order, say, four different DVDs from four different sellers, would they all be shipped to me separately? At least at XRent, I got all the titles in one package. I don't know if I want multiple packages sent to me every time I order more than one DVD.
Your response sounds a bit overly dramatic. Are you sure your account was terminated because you posted here? Couldn't there possibly be a more realistic reason. After all you mentioned you canceled all of your listings in an earlier post. Did you take any other drastic steps like issuing refunds? I've heard of new sellers getting their accounts closed for improperly issuing refunds.
Everyone has the same complaints with filthydvds. But they do deliver the material, they just slow boat it from china. They are purchaser of last resort in my book.
I just wanted to warn you guys about something. I recently purchased a DVD from ADM from a seller that was not FilthyDVDs. As I was checking out, adultdvdmarketplace made a special offer for some DVDs I wanted. I figured that the seller would be ADM. Nowhere in the special offer did it say who the seller was. After I had already bought the dvds, ADM informed me that filthydvds would be providing the dvds. I usually avoid filthydvds so I felt pissed. Anyways, this was March 9. Today I finally received the DVDs. The DVDs were postmarked 3/28. Filthy DVDs did not ship the DVDs within two business days.
At least you got the dvds. "Filthy" seems to sell under several names but he generally seems to deliver what he sells, sometimes quickly and sometimes the word that apploes is eventually. I don't generally hestitate to use him as a supplier. There are far far worse "sellers" out there.
Which is always a very good thing to note in the feedback with the rating dropped accordingly. I can never understand how somebody rates an order with a 5/5 when noting that it took 3, 4, 5 weeks past when the DVDs were supposed to ship to actually ship them. "I do not as a rule seek advice about food from thin people..." - Jeffrey Steingarten
So, does anyone know what happened with the link between ADT and ADM? When checking prices on a DVD here, ADM has always been one of the sites to check and on the flipside, at ADM there has always been a link to current reviews and prices here. Was there a falling out of sort between the two sites?
Digging up old graves here. I saw some newer topics about Adult DVD Marketplace but this one seems to be more in line with what I want to say (unless I missed a newer topic similar to this). Adult DVD Marketplace has been a great find to me. My absolute favourite seller is 1price. I've ordered from them three (or four) times now. The shipping has been ultra fast. The fastest delivery was exactly one week (international shipping from the USA to Finland). Other deliveries have been one or a couple of days over one week. The first time I ordered, one of the DVDs was wrong though. However, without that fault I wouldn't have ever seen Coed Fever which is now one of my favourite adult films. We made a deal that I'd get the right DVD when I place my next order. It went well. LuckyStarDVD has been good too. It took a month for the DVDs to arrive, so compared to 1price that was really slow but I'm still very satisfied. MILLENIUM_MOVIES was horrible. I ordered from them. After 6 weeks I sent e-mail asking if the order on its way. They didn't reply. After 8 weeks from the order I e-mailed them again asking if they could at least reply to me. No answer. According to their feedback this has happened quite often.
I've now tried to get refund from ADM directly but they haven't answered to me at all yet (I submitted the ticket on Tuesday). I hope they'll resolve this soon.
I'm a huge fan of ADM. The vast majority of DVDs I own I bought from their site. The first time I came across the site I thought it was kind of scam because the prices were so low compared to other places and even buying movies directly from the company the movie was made. My experience buying there has been mostly good. There have been some sellers who had poor service but I think the majority of them are okay and some are great. My situation is different from yours because I live in the US. I tend to try and order from sellers that are close to me home state. I've found that the further the package has to travel the more chances it has to get lost in the mail and of course the longer the wait is. For higher priced DVDs I try and buy from an actual company rather than a seller who's just selling their DVDs. That way if the DVD gets lost in the mail the company will more likely have a replacement. Plus, companies tend to be more concerened with having a good reputation than a person just trying to sell their used movies. They are a great company. They aren't always the fastest for me personally, sometimes they're inconsistent with how soon I get my order but they've always come through for me.Another great company. I'd rank them slightly higher than 1price but that's just my experience.I've never had any problems with MM. It takes longer to get movies from them but that's because they are on the far east coast and I'm on the far west coast and they use Media Mail which is slower in most cases. But the order always shows up. I've never had a problem with them so I never had to email them. I don't use them that often because of their location but I do use them from time to time because they often have older movies no one else offers or have in stock.
I'm not the type who's too impatient and I don't mind people doing human errors, so I've tried to be as polite as possible with my e-mails to them. And who knows if there has been some kind of a digital problem with communication. I also understand that these companies will get a lot of orders and e-mails in a day so sometimes things just get lost. I can see, though, that they've had some problems in their business. They've replied to someone that they've gone through some management changes and they explained some of the inconvenience with that, and just a few days ago it seemed as if they've quit or been kicked out from ADM as their selling lists seemed were suddenly empty and they aren't anymore in the top sellers list, but it now seems they are still around and they've got their lists back online. I just wish they would give at least some kind of a reply to me just to know if they've sent the DVDs. I'd really need a couple of those I've ordered for my degree work at school but I can't really afford buying them again from somewhere else. Downloading them illegally isn't an option as I want to pay for my entertainment and collections even though my income as a student is quite low. I still could order from them again if this would somehow resolve in me getting the items I ordered. They still have interesting stuff I'd like to buy but if my first order from them ends up with me losing money, I have to stay with 1price and LuckyStarDVD in the future.
I haven't ordered anything from them in about 6 months or so, so it's possible that things have changed since I last ordered from them and their service isn't what it used to be. I totally understand your point about getting some sort of reply from them or any seller. Most of the time you just want to know if they actually sent the DVD out or not. Sometimes mistakes happen and they just didn't even ship the movie. Sometimes they don't have the movie in stock and are waiting to get more. Sometimes they did ship it but it got lost in the mail. No matter what happened it's always good to hear from them so you can decide what to do next instead of just wondering what happened. I'm pretty easy going about sellers making mistakes and don't just assume they're not trying to do the right thing but I don't have much patience if they can't be bothered to reply to customer emails. Hopefully things will work out for you.
