For those who can read Dutch

The news says the adult-industry made more money last year than Amazon, Apple, eBay and Google together with a cool $97 billion. I can understand this when I see pictures of directors/company owners living in big houses and riding cool cars but it's obvious not a lot of money goes to the performers seeing how on ADT we raised money for example for Lea DeMea, Dana Dearmond and Nicki Hunter. What a big contrast it is.

in all forms of entertainment.......the people behind the scenes have longer careers and make most of the money....

there are ex professional athletes who have hard times after their playing day are over...

In fact..the first NBA big man..Goerge Mikan, died a few years back...and his family didn't have enough for proper funeral.....


porn is no different.

I read the industry was worth $110bn a year a while ago, so yeah I can believe it, I think the producers are the ones who make the most from it.

The impression I've gotten is that the middle men make the most money in porn, not the companies that actually shoot new content.

Who is the middle men? Casting agents? I guess all you need is a golden formula and make a site that nobody created yet. I mean everybody is already doing bangbus kind of things so you have to be original. I myself would create a site with male midgets doing all tall women. I'm sure people would join that.

the number mentioned above is based on all streams that lead into one pool via- broadcast,hotel-motel, streaming, vod, downloads, magazines, dvd, vhs(yes its still out there but shrinking faster than a pair of nuts in ice water) etc. and everyone gets there share! but with the price of dvds on the wholesale market dropping and with all the production cost going up our margins get thinner aswell. With all that said we as producers control a big part of content which is still KING in the market place and people must understand that this is a business and MUST function as one on a daily basis and all producers who are still living on 1996-2002 profits and have large fixed operation expense will see doom within the next 2 years. Sure its nice to drive a fancy car but in reality WHO CARES and do we really need a 6k square foot house(NO) WHO CARES! What im saying is the number might sound big but when it is cut into many many slices thats reality, I am a realist , where I see most being idealist brought on prodominantly by different forms of media which sends out bad messages telling you that your not cool unless you drive the Range Rover or where the Gucci sunglasses or have the biggest tits or which sums up my rant THE BIGGEST DICK ! save your money buy porn instead : )
