Would anyone no if there is a place where I can go and find a list of adult movies that have been recalled or are going to be recalled?
I sent a message asking ifad(Internet Adult Film Database) asking them if they had a list of adult movies being recalled or have been recalled. Ifad said to me, "You would need to check with distributors; we don't have access to info like that". Ifad is not the only site I asked. I am not knocking ifad but if your going to call yourself a DATABASE for PORN you should have a section for recalls. Not only them but anyone or site that claims to be an all knowing entity of porn. Everyone, I ask make it like I am asking a top secret question LOL.
I asked a couple of distributors but they have not gotten back to me.
This is my first post not my first time on this site. Finally got off my butt to make a profile.
Like to say what's up to everyone.
If anyone can help me thanks.

Why do you want a list of defective titles. And why should IAFD record defective titles. They don't even operate as a store.

To answer your first question. For one, who says that the titles are defective I think porn is cool it's a hobbie of mine and in saying that I like to no everything about my hobbies.
Two, I never said anything about IAFD acting as a store but they due act as an INFORMATION site SPECIFICALLY towards the AMERICAN ADULT INDUSTRY, by covering actors, actresses, directors and movies. Now saying that. Why wouldn't they have a section for recalls.
I take it that you are not familiar with the Max hardcore court case or the Traci Lord scandal or United States v. Extreme Associates.

When one talks about something being recalled, it is generally because the product is defective. I'm gathering from your second post that you are actually looking for titles that have been pulled because they are considered illegal. I'm aware of all three cases, however I don't believe much if any of Extreme's titles were pulled. The same with Max Hardcore. As for Traci Lords, with the exception of Traci I Love You, any title with her in it is illegal. Many of her old films are still in print, with her scenes excised from the film. If IAFD were to keep track of everything related to adult movies, they would never get any information up. And remember, they are a free service. You pay nothing for what you get and most, if not all, of the people that work on the database do it for free I believe. The reason I brought up that they are not a store is because a long running store would have a far better idea of the titles that have been pulled than an online movie database. As for what is going to be "recalled" are you trying to collect titles that are going to be illegal? If so that's rather dumb and impossible to tell until it gets deemed that the title is illegal. The reasoning for your post still massively confuses me.

Just because something is recalled does not mean it has to have a negative connotation to it. I understand that you said "generally" but I am not talking about your ever day normal household products(maybe for some). I am talking about porn and a porn recall is far from general. What you should have gathered from my posts is that I just would like to no whats been recalled and whats going to be recalled and WHY. You just even debating me on this topic is odd to me and really makes me really want to find this list. I would believe anyone who views, watches, collects, and is in the porn industry would want to no the answer to my question. I live in a country where I the right to know why something is being recalled and what has been recalled. You said that you believe not much if any of Extreme's and Max hardcore titles were pulled. I can tell you this much if I had a list of what was recalled I could draw a sure statement about that. As for Traci Lords scenes being excised from her films that varies country to country. There are a lot of sites out there that are free and have loads of information on them like Wikipedia and you don't pay for it and there very up to date.IFAD(Internet Adult Film Database) if there going to put the word DATABASE in there name they need to look up the definition,a definition from Wikipedia, A DATABASE is a STRUCTURED collection of records or data that is stored in a computer system. It's very possible for IAFD to keep up with the pace of the porn world. The same way news stations keep up with current world events. Comparing the porn world to global events is a bit extreme; because porn does not change as frequently as global events do. As far as collecting titles that are going to be illegal. That is a game I would not try to play, hence why I brought up the Max hardcore case and the Traci Lords scandal and United States v. Extreme Associates.

My post should not confuses you at all. Bro! you are thinking to hard. All I asked was if anyone new where I can find a list of movies that have been recalled or are going to be recalled. That was it. But you want to no the intent behind my question and jump to conclusions which is not the point. The QUESTION is what matters.

It sounds to me like he's looking for products 'recalled' because of violations of 18.2257.

The intent might actually help someone help you find what you are looking for. I doubt that you will ever find a massive list of every adult movie that has been "recalled". But if you were looking for specific reasons why something was pulled from the marketplace someone might have been able to help you. If you just want to be a jackass about it, I doubt you'll find much people looking to help you. Good luck.

The Extreme Ass. videos had long disappeared off the market before their case was settled because the company collapsed, so there are no videos to pull from the shelves.
