To me that is like saying they don't do oral or won't do cumshots... Isn't adult film SUPPOSED to be someting people watch to enjoy fantasies they may not be getting at home? I mean EVERYONE has sex and acording to recent stats I have seen, over 60% of couples either have anal sex on a regular basis or have at least tried it... So why on earth would adult film even contract stars who won't perfom an incredibly erotic and COMMON act of sexuality... Shouldn't porn be "hot" and even at least a little taboo in every single scene?? Almost all the girl frinds I have do anal, from candid chats I have had with them, and two of them started at a very, VERY early age... If even teens these days are doing anal why are there even ANY adult stars working now who won't do this normal act?? As for your girl friends, they aren't a statistically relevant sample, so you really have no basis to say that anal is a normal sex act, other than the warped lens of porn itself. [Link]

Click to expand Anal is IS normal and IS common from a lot of different sources I am aware of, including friends, statistical research (one by a local University), books and magazines, and by chat rooms and other relevant forums I am a part of including, yes, college forums... I have friends that are less prudish then many adult stars and it boggles my mind how some of these girls are attracted to porn when they have no sense of sexual adventure... I don't remeber the exact numbers and don't remember if the study asked how many have tried anal sex or how many perfrom on a regular basis but I believe there where several catagories like once a week and once a month etc... The numbers I remember shocked me when I seen them... They were quite high and around 60% as I recall... And only speaking from my personal life I know many, many student friends of mine who can't get enough anal sex and the ladies are more outspoken about the guys in that respect... Something also that has suprized me in the last year or so talking to friends and experimenting myself... I just know I really like it and wish the makers of porn were a little more diligent in making strickly anal porn or vaginal porn... Now, as to your statistics. Note that including those who have anal sex regularly with those who had it one time renders the 60% meaningless, since it could mean 1% do it regularly and 59% did it one time. As for your girl friends, they aren't a statistically relevant sample, so you really have no basis to say that anal is a normal sex act, other than the warped lens of porn itself.

Anal is IS normal and IS common from a lot of different sources I am aware of, including friends, statistical research (one by a local University), books and magazines, and by chat rooms and other relevant forums I am a part of including, yes, college forums... Masters was male and Johnson was female and they had a better sample of society than Kinsey.

I don't remeber the exact numbers and don't remember if the study asked how many have tried anal sex or how many perfrom on a regular basis but I believe there where several catagories like once a week and once a month etc... The numbers I remember shocked me when I seen them... They were quite high and around 60% as I recall... And only speaking from my personal life I know many, many student friends of mine who can't get enough anal sex and the ladies are more outspoken about the guys in that respect... Something also that has suprized me in the last year or so talking to friends and experimenting myself...

I just know I really like it and wish the makers of porn were a little more diligent in making strickly anal porn or vaginal porn... There is something to consider sharde. Studies done at universities use college students for test subjects. It's not a good cross-section of society.
From what I understand, the younger generation of Japanese women are more likely to experiment with anal sex. Their grandmothers and mothers were and are much less tolerant of that sexual practice. Tradition dies slowly and I don't know if Asian cultures, who have always considered anal sex to be taboo, will be changed by the younger ladies of Japan having more anal sex.
Apparently, since anal sex became popular, at least in porn, more men have prodded (pun intended) their women to try anal sex with them. Some women who watch porn with their men, probably see anal intercourse since many films have at least one anal scene in them, and many discuss it with their friends. They are sometimes surprised to learn a friend or two loves it.
I have a copy of the original 'Caught From Behind' filmed in 1982 by Hal Freeman. There is a big disclaimer at the beginning of the movie that warns the viewer that anal sex scenes are contained and if the viewer is offended, don't watch it. It's amusing to say the least. Today, anal sex is common. It used to be a small, separate area in an adult book store but you see it everywhere today.

Many of those stats that you see may not be separating us younger generation from the baby boomers etc who I don't imagine would be having anal sex at all...
