I am so disappointed. I thought Adultdvdempire was the number one porn dealer. Great sites, fast delivery and very pro. But not when it comes to the replacement policy...

I received my order about a month ago, but the title, "Depraved Fantasies" was defective. According to Adultdvdempire there would be no problems with replacement - if I only returned the DVD. So I did.

After some thirty days there are still no replacement in sight. Why, the title is NOT AVAILABLE. Adultdvdempire admit that. (And you can tell by their web sites also.) No one knows when it will be back in stock again.

I have suggested to replace with an other title - or refund to my credit card, but they will not listen. They don´t even answer emails anymore...

I am so disappointed.

In my opinion they're one of the worst online stores. A while ago they shipped me a wrong DVD and they said they would send me the right one if only I would return the wrong one which mean I had to pay extra for the shipping back for a mistake they made. I don't think that was fair and never ordered from them again!

That is disappointing to hear, dagstor. You can understand they can't replace it if they don't have it, and they do say in their returns policy that they'll only replace defective products with the same item. However, the goods should be fit for their intended purpose and if not you should get a replacement or a refund.

I guess it wouldn't hurt to politely prod them again and see if they respond. It's simply bad form for them to ignore your messages when you have a legitimate complaint.

I wonder if anyone from Adult DVD Empire might care to comment...

Ramsey, that's exactly the reason I don't use them anymore. Over the course of 18 months or so I had to return 8 or 9 titles to them - all at my own expense. On one occasion I received two defective copies of the same title so, by the time I received a functional disk, I'd paid for three instances of international shipping! When I complained about the costs I was incurring by returning all these defective items they simply quoted their terms and conditions. Given the amount of business I'd given them over the years I was less than impressed. The final straw was when an item I'd returned to them failed to arrive. I'd paid for a disk that turned out to be defective, then paid to have it shipped back to the states, and finally been told 'sorry, we can't replace the disk because we have received it'.

ADE have an excellent website, keep a lot of items in stock and despatch orders promptly. However, in terms of customer service (not to mention price), they have a lot to learn.

I hope ADE will respond to this thread but I doubt it since they hardly check the Internation Shopping section. It's like they only care about their US customers.

Hi, folks...

Good to see I´m not alone about this matter.

To Gabriel Nine:

No, I cannot understand why they do not make good for my loss-defective DVD title "Depraved Fantasies". They could easily refunded $23.95 to my card - or replaced with a title which is in stock. I will never place an order with Adultdvdempire again.

Regards "dagstor", customer from Norway.

Empire Man, thanks for your response (that was quick, by the way). Much appreciated.
