Has anybody had problems with rental DVDs getting lost or broken? I've been using the ADE rental service for a about a year and a half or so and have been very happy with it (although a few less "out to customers" would be nice). My problem is that it seems like an excessive amount of discs have been lost or damaged by the USPS. I'd guesstimate that maybe 10-15% of the discs have had problems. Some months are particularly bad (I've had something like 6 broken discs in one month). Just a couple of weeks ago 2 discs were lost on the way back (I don't have nearly the same problems with Netflix; maybe 1 or 2 discs a year). I've used different mailboxes to send stuff and it doesn't seem to make much difference. I'm in Chicago, home of the worlds worst branch of the postal service, and was wondering if anyone has had the same sorts of issues in other parts of the country . I'm hoping ADE doesn't suspend my account (I'm actually kinda surprised they haven't yet).
