What do people think about their revamped website?
I'm not sure if all the changes have come into effect yet, but I'm not entirely impressed. I know it's always hard to adjust when a website gets revamped.
They've removed all of the menu options from the left and right hand sides which were always present wherever you navgiated on the site. Without these the site is a complete nightmare to navigate. You now have to go back to the home page to always get the complete list of options.
Needs sorting out immediately.

smg4ever: All of the front page naviagation options are available on all of the pages. Check out the drop down list next to where it says "Go" on every page. You will find all of the categories and genres listed there. On the left side of the search you can choose to search by any type of media or site on the dropdown list. Using these options, or the tabs to get to VOD, Rentals, Novelties, etc you can get to anything quickly without having to return to the homepage.

It's still not as useful as it was. There aren't all the options there once were. I like to bounce around the site and the navigation simply isn't as user friendly as it was before.
It's really awkward finding the complete studio list. It was much simpler when you had the menu options down the left hand side.

I just spoke with programming and the complete studio list will be on there very soon.

Superduper. I suppose I'll just have to get used to it. I'm getting old, I don't like change!

One thing I'm especially displeased with is that whenever I try to buy anything from them using the rebate link from here at this site, instead of it taking me to my cart at the Empire, I instead end up on a page which reads "This page has either been moved or no longer exists." In other words, Kickback$ no longer works with Adult DVD Empire. Does anyone know if this is just a temporary glitch, or has the Empire given up on the Kickback$ program?

Thanks for letting us know. We've written to Empire about the Kickback transfer mechanism.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
The kickback error was a temporary techinical glitch. It should now be working. When you click on the kickback link here on ADT, it should add whatever item it is for to your card at ADE.

You talked...we listened.
One of the most common comments we recieved about the new website design via our suggestions section and e-mails to our customer service department was that the "More Studios" link was missing from our DVD page.
I just want to let all of you know that the link is back so that you can now browse for tites from your favorite studio of the 600+ that we carry!

For some reason, I can't list any of my dvds because the site will not let me? Not so sure that this revamp of the site is complete.

Still doesn't seem as user friendly to me. I'm doing far more navigating back and forth than I did on the old site.
Also no screenshots and scene indexes anymore which is a disappointment, as adultDVDempire is one of the few websited that did have screenshots.

Screenshots, yeah. Couldn't find any so searched in their help pages.
They then tell me I'm authorized to view screenshots. Okay, that's great, but just where in the hell are they?
Being I'm pretty much a techno-moron, I figured it's just me. (Probably is.)

Screenshots are still there, on the product page, next to the general tab is the screenshot tab. Also on the search results page you can go straight to the screenshots if you click on where it says XX screenshots (where XX is the amount of screenshots for that title).

Okay, okay. By an unlikely coinkadink, the dozen or so movies I'd looked up on ADE's site since their makeover just happened not to have screenshots available.
When I sought out a title more likely to be a recent best-seller, something like Binky the Clown Closely Inspects Winking Assholes With a Spatula, voila, there they were.
All is well in ADE Land. Thanks, Flash.

I also have some DVDs I would like to list at AdultDVDEmpire.
Ever since the new site started, I get a message "Sorry, this feature is temporarily out of order. Check back soon."
Any idea how long this will be "out of order"?
Overall, I'm pleased with the new look.

I also find it more difficult to navigate; the old look felt more intuitive. But maybe with time...
A small annyoance is that the site now tends not to remember where you were on a page. For instance when you click on a tile from a list and then go back to the list you now wind up at the top of the list and not where you were before. Also, when swtiching between screen shots, you wind up at the top of the page instead of where the screenshots are. This might not be a problem if you're using a large screen, but when you're using a laptop you will have to scroll down to the picture each time you switch to a new screenshot.

I e-mailed them and a representative informed me that the construction of the new site is indeed the reason why the listing section is "out of order."
My concern is that I have many to sell and most importantly willing to sell, but just can't and they (ADE) is the best place to do it in my opinion. Hopefully, they will fix this problem ASAP.

Have all the kinks been worked out with regards to transferring items from the comparison cart to Adult DVD Empire?
When clicking through the 'Order thru Kickbacks' link on the comparison cart's 'Compare Total Order Cost' page, I receive an error message on the Adult DVD Empire website ('Problem Adding Unavailable Item - You can not add an Unavailable Item to your order.')

That's a relief. Didn't see the screenshots last time but I'll check again.
Screenshots: very important and a definite selling point in buying from that site. Sometimes they aren't good captures, e.g. too dark, closeups, etc., so there's still room for improvement.
