I am looking at some DVD's to purchase and noticed that through AdultDVDMarketplace I can get a good price at FilthyDVD. Anyone use them and if so how reliable are they? TIA.

I had good buys from seller Globalflixs. And a bad experience with seller Don Goo, last time I check it was posted as new owner/management.
Do check feedbacks though, ADMP is a great place to buy. I forgot the name of owner/manager of that site, but he help me resovle the issue with the bad seller and he also posted a reply to my problem.
Please do not hesisate to order from there, its a really great place to buy. My future order of DVD's will only be from there from now on.
Maybe all of us "5 star" sellers try to do our best to make the customer happy.
Sellers are obligated to ship out orders within 2 days of notification. I can't speak for the other sellers but I always ship my DVDs out within 24 hours and I have a reputation as a "fast shipper". And I try to keep my prices as competitive as possible.
I've been a member at ADMP since Feb. 2003 and I've sold nearly 500 DVDs. ADMP is a godsend for me because I would not have been able to update my adult DVD collection without it. I'm constantly buying new DVDs and selling older titles in order to make room. I'm completely satisfied in doing business with Gary and I don't know how else I would have been able to sell my used DVDs at a decent price.
I've ordered from them a few times. It takes a long time to get your order though. Just keep that in mind if you order from them. If I remember correctly it took usually 14-21 days to get my orders. It was worth it for the money I was saving. I would order from them all the time if they could improve their shipping time.
14-21 days is standard delivery time for media mail, the main way everything is shipped on ADM. The main thing that should affect you there is how close you are to the seller.

I would suggest you review some of their buyer history. I have noticed that some vendors I have seen and had trouble with in the past have moved from eBay to AdultDVDMarketplace. I was surprised to see that they has positive feedback. When I reviewed their history I found that they have hundreds of positive 5 star posts from a small number of buyers and a large number of negative (very negative) posts from a wide variety of customers. Based on that information I would not trust the buyer satisfaction stars without a review. They appear to be easily manipulated to produce skewed results.
That's because each DVD title is treated as a separate feedback, not based on each order or each unique customer.
But I agree, you need to review the feedback. I've sold about 200 discs and have a 5-star rating, while those who have sold thousands of discs and have 200 negatives may appear to be very reliable just by the overall average.
I was about to ask this question and then I found this thread. Sometimes the prices are too good to be true that is why I have been leary to buy from them, is there any way to to take action if you get screwed over?
I have bought hundreds and sold dozens of DVDs through ADMP. I like it, but wish they would cut their fees a little more.
If you order one DVD, it is cheaper to ship by 1st Class US mail and the DVD arrives quickly.
For two or more DVDs, it is much cheaper to ship by media mail, but it can take up to three weeks for DVDs to arrive. The reason you ship by media mail is to stay within the ADMP shipping allowance.
As a buyer, you pay $2 for the first DVD and $1 for each additional DVD you purchase from the same seller on one order, but ADMP gets 50 cents of the $2 and 50 cents out of each additional $1. Frequently, the shipping allowance falls a little short of the actual cost.
I suppose the seller could upgrade you to Priority Mail and subsidize the shipping cost, but there is no financial incentive to do so.
From my personal experience, the sellers try to please. I strive to ship within 24 hours and sometimes I'm able to ship the same day.
When I was selling on ADM, it was very rare for their shipping allowance to not cover the shipping costs. 90% of the time I could ship single DVDs for either $1.06 or $1.29, with almost all other single disc releases shipping at $1.52. Of course, I used plain envelopes rather than the more expensive padded ones, but with those I figure that the shipping allowance was just fine. For more discs, I was fine with the increases as well, and I think they worked well for covering costs pretty safely. I do agree that it would be nice to have other options available for shipping, such as Priority mail for those people who don't want to wait a couple weeks for their DVDs to arrive in media mail. ADM's limiting shipping to media mail unless the seller chooses to upgrade is the only problem I can see with the site, and even then I don't think it's a big problem.

Nope. I used pretty tight fitting envelopes and then I picked up something from somebody else that shipped to me. To protect the discs I broke a piece of packing popcorn in a few pieces and put them on top of the disc so that it would be held securely in shipping rather than popped out. I think it actually worked better for shipping DVDs than the padded envelopes.
