| fastal625 New Member 2 Posts 10/09 | I placed an order with "adultdvdsite.com.au" over a month ago and had a problem with the server when paying, details are below. I wrote to their inquiry address and got 1 reply but they have since gone silent. I have contacted them over 4 times by email and rung their answering service in Aus. and left a message. They haven't responded. I have lodged a complaint with The Department of Fair Trade. Has anyone else had problems with these guys? They have definitely taken the money for my order and not filled it. They give the appearance of being an Aust. company but the server that you make payment to is located in the UK. It could be a scam to rip off overseas buyers. I'll bet it's going to be hard suing them. Your Name: A. Scott Your Email: casual_position@hotmail.com Order Enquiry: 119521-------------------------------------------------------On Sunday Sept 20 I tried to place order number 119521. When I submitted my details to pay your web site advised that there had been a problem with the order. I got the impression that your server had crashed. I did not pursue the order and continued shopping elsewhere. A request for a debit on my debit card from ADS Digital for the amount of 174.56 appeared on the same day. It had this reference number "000000005542268 ADS DIGITAL INTERNE\0845 280 2". My original order (the one that didn't work) was meant to be for the amount of $183.42. I think that your company is responsible for the debit yet I have received no order confirmation or a despatch notice. Your web site tells me that it can find the order and is able to tell me what the content of the order is. When I ask for details it says it has no records of the order. It is as though you took the money for the order and then the server crashed you now have an incomplete record of the order. Can you confirm that the debit request is in fact yours and if so whether the order being filled? Or am I going to be refunded? A. Scott (number witheld) [Link] |
