I would like to thank AdultDVDTalk for providing an excellent service. I would never shop for Adult DVD's without consulting AdultDVDTalk.

With regard to the Kickback program, I have carefully followed the instructions and have never had a problem.

I have found that a combination of service, selection, price, coupons and the 15% kickback make AdultDVDEmpire my preferred store, however for General DVD's as well as CD's there are cheaper online sources than DVDEmpire.

Many online stores are switching over to free shipping, even Amazon has reduced their free shipping purchase limit to $25.00.

Since most of us purchase General DVD's and CD's in addition to Porn, I would like to suggest that DVDEmpire adopt free shipping for all of their products not just Adult DVD's and in addition extend the 15% kickback to all purchases made through AdultDVDTalk. DVDEmpire has a fantastic selection, prices and great service plus in addition they have a hidden advantage over the other stores on AdultDVDTalk in that they have a complete line of General DVD's and CD's in addition to Adult products.
By providing free shipping on all of their products and extending the 15% kickback inducement they would have increased leverage over the competition and would capture all of my business both Adult and General. Three nickels are worth more than one dime.

Just my 2 cents ;)

Thank you for your input. Just to clarify, DVD Empire does indeed offer free USPS Standard Shipping for orders of 4 or more pieces. Additionally, as long as there is an adult title on your order, you can receive free shipping on that order.

As far as DVD Empire entering the 15% kickback program...that's a tough one. As you'll see, our general DVD prices are already lower than just about every one of our competitors so for us to cut those prices even more would be really hard to do. However, I will pass your idea along to the DVD Empire staff...

More importantly, I appreciate the suggestions. I've always said that we love to hear from our customers.

Herr - thanks for the suggestion. From a technical perspective the Kickback program is not designed to track non-Adult products. I would have to rewrite a significant amount of code to include general DVDs, CDs and games.

From a business perspective I don't think it makes sense either. A retailer's profit margins on mainstream DVDs do not support the pricing structure of a rebate system. A 15% rebate on many of these titles could result in significant losses. I have no idea what Empire's profit margin structure is like, but when I used to purchase mainstream DVDs for a now defunct online retailer there's no way we could have given any rebate and remained profitable. Sales, promotions, coupons and the like for mainstream DVDs are an exercise in loss management.

No, that's right... Even when a retailer sells items at retail, there's someone who has to buy the discs at wholesale and negotiate purchase agreements...
