Hi there everyone ,

I've ordered from AdultDVDToday in the past and have been very pleased with the service - fast , discrete , good prices . However my latest order has taken a lot longer to arrive than the others . I think the fastest was about 3 days , with the slowest being 8 days .

My question is , what is the longest that anyone on these boards has had to wait before receiving their discs ?

I placed the order on the 12/12/03 and was sent confirmation of shipping on 13/12/03 . Nothing's arrived yet . Right now I'm holding out hope that this is a delay caused by ; their change-over to a new site design , and the Xmas postal slowdown . Please keep my hope alive by telling me you've received DVDs later than this . It would really suck if I lost these discs .

I once had to wait like 2 months before I got my package from AdultDVDEmpire.

Maybe customs got your package and that's why it's taking so long.

Lee O, my last order, just before Christmas, did take a lot longer than usual from them, more or less a fortnight, I think.

Hey brasilfan!

Are those confiscated orders the one's from other companies you already mentioned in other topics, or did you now also have AdultDVDToday orders confiscated?

Anywayz - for me it looks like the customs (not only the one's in Germany) somehow got hold of the fact, that a lot of adult stuff is now sent international in thin envelopes with small amounts on the customs sticker and now they inspect thin envelopes a lot more often than they did before.

So, let's hope that all the lost/delayed order posts of the last weeks in here are caused by the christmas postal slowdown and the damn customs don't run a big offensive against us pornjunkies.

I'm ordering from England ( and yourself ? ) , and haven't experienced many problems with customs before . When you say that you've had packages confiscated recently , what exactly happened ? Did customs call or send a note telling you that your post was in their possession ? Or have the DVDs simply vanished into thin air ?

It seems that slow/intercepted orders are more common right now as JMO writes of his similar problems in this thread .

If Customs is responsible they will send a letter notifying you. Otherwise keep hoping it's just the Christmas backlog causing the delay.

charlie is correct about the notification letter. I also hope that your shipment will still arrive but I have my doubts. AdultDVDToday.com usually ships pretty fast. Normally goods arrive within one week. Meanwhile I have received the replacements. Arrival time was 6 days for the first part and 9 days for the second part (probably due to New Year in between).

I'd expect orders to speed up now we're well clear of the holiday season. In my experience, the absolute minimum shipping time was 2 days from the US (well done AdultDVD69, however you managed it); the average is 7-10 days and up to the last package the maximum was around 16 days. If you take off the non-working days between Dec 15 and Jan 8, that package actually took 14 working days which wasn't too bad.

I guess that things are back to normal - I have recently placed my first order with ADVDT, which was dispatched on Monday and arrived Saturday - 6 days total from the USA to Scotland.

Thanks for asking . After writing them an email questioning what the current status of my order was , they sent through a reply saying that a replacement order was now on its way . When/If this turns out to be true then it's just about the best service a guy could ask for . I'll keep you all posted of any developments .

I ordered som dvds the 13th of january and they have still not arrived i am little worried about it because in the past it has never taking longer than one week

Guess what came in the post this morning ? Yep , true to his word , the man at ADT sent a new order through ( clearly stamped as the 22nd ) and this has now arrived . What has become of the original discs ? God alone knows . With any luck they're winging their way back to ADT .

Excellent service from the only American based store I've bought anything from in a while now , can't recommend them highly enough .

PeP : It could be worth leaving it for a while yet , 10 days might be a long time for AdultDVDToday but it's fast for most other US stores . It's when things get past 4 weeks to a month that concern is probably due . I hope you get your order , and please don't forget to fill us in on how things go for you . The more knowledge we all have the better .

Update today i recived my order that was shipped 040113 and yesterday i received one order that was shipped 040127 very strange i emailed Greg on adultdvdtoday and he would send me an replacement order on my first order today, hope he read his emails before he does however its very good service from adultdvdtoday to do this they have no responsibillity on international orders i really must recommend this store to everyone that buys adultdvds
