Bill  All-Star Member 5334 Posts 6/00 | Posted - May 22 2005 : 12:29PM You earn kickbacks by buying from one of the kickback stores. 99% of the time, I just put the titles that I want to buy into the ADT comparison cart and then click on "Compare total order cost". From that page, I just click on the "order thru kickbacks" link listed under the store that I want to buy from. When Steph & Drew receive their commission check from that retailer, they will put a percentage of your original order into your kickback account. You can keep track of how much is in your account on the kickback page. When you want to redeem some (or all) of your kickback balance, you can request a redemption in $10 increments at any of the stores that participate in the kickback program. You will receive an e-mail from the store that you chose to to redeem your kickback giving you a gift certificate (or whatever credit mechanism that store uses). You then use that gift certificate (or credit) when making your next order. Orders made while using a kickback credit are also eligible to earn additional kickback credits. Some stores (I know 5 Star for sure) give additional discounts to people who are redeeming a kickback. 5-Star will give an additional 15% off of orders of $100 or more (netting out the kickback credit) and will give a %20 discount on orders of $200 or more net. The only down side to redeeming kickbacks is that receiving the gift certificate (or credit) is not immediate. I usually order in the evening. So I usually receive the gift certificate information from the store the next day. [Link] |
