Sorry if this the wrong section. I am typing this on my tablet where I am able to access the site normally. When I go to the site on my PC, I am being g asked to verify my age again. I successfully log in with this username from that page but am then prompted to verify age if I navigate anywhere in the site.
Thanks for letting me know. You should be able to bypass the age verification by logging in if you have previously completed the AV process. I'll dig into this.
Hey The Yak, how are you, bro? I came online here yesterday after a long time and was able to log in without any problems. But when I came back today, I was asked to verify my age again. I didn't want to do it on my phone because I felt uncomfortable giving camera access there or doing anything like that, so I sat down at my PC and completed the age verification using my webcam. I just hope this doesn't become a daily thing. I managed to do it today, but I don't want to have to go through the same process every time I log in.

I'll check the login page. If you have been verified in the past it's supposed to detect/know that. I would rather people not have to re-verify because the verifications aren't free. They cost me $$ which is a waste if you have already verified.
Just for clarification, are you using the login form that's part of the age gate or the one on the login page?
If you're accessing the site from different computers/devices those devices typically do not share cookies unless you have some type of synchronization software working between your devices. So if you log in and age verify on your desktop the cookies associated with that are only on your desktop. Come back on your phone, it doesn't have the records that you're 1) a user and 2) previously passed verification. However, there's a login form at the bottom of the age gate page that you can use to access your account.
If this is not what you're experiencing please let me know.
Thank you, Drew, for explaining everything in detail. I understand now. For the time being, I've logged in from my desktop, just like yesterday. I won't be accessing the site from my phone because I don't want to give anyone access to my camera. So, I'll only use my desktop to access the site from now on.
BTW, I wrote the software that accesses your camera. (I am xyzinc.com.) And no human ever sees it or even has the ability to review it. It's never stored to disk or a database.
I don't want to know who you are. The liability of retaining any personal data far outweighs any benefits.
I've also had an issue with age verification on multiple devices. I normally access the site on my iPad. I've been verified and, once I log in, everything works fine. Yet, I have trouble accessing the site via my iPhone. I've logged in to my account but once I reach the site, it's all blurry. It's like I'm looking at the site through thick glass or Vaseline.
Sometimes the same thing happens to me too, just like you described. Everything appears blurry, and the bot also asks you to verify that you're human. If the CAPTCHA isn't showing up on your phone, try turning on screen rotation and rotating your phone. The CAPTCHA should become visible. Sometimes it also appears when you scroll down. Once you complete the CAPTCHA, the site should become clear again.
Yes, sometimes it comes from Cloudflare and sometimes from the browser itself. This often happens when the same website is accessed from multiple IP addresses.
