However, if a talent gets a doctor's note or a letter from AIM, they are ill. The talent may not feel ill until the morning of the shoot or receive a call from AIM while traveling there. If their agent threatens to fire them if they do not show, then the illness will spread. Please just be a little more understanding. Illness is a sad part of the job that all must bare. However, if the sick are isolated, the frequecy that talent contracts an illness can be greatly lessened, treating the physical illnesses that cost the industry so much money. [Link] |

Anyone could register as a producer and SAY they hired so-and-so and he/she flaked. AND some posters admit to name errors...WAY further down. Talent of either sex have agents or companies behind them to raise a stink about a stab-in-the-back post, but I went back (I'm sorry...it's good reading if it's true) and some1 trashed a still photographer who flaked. Maybe he or she did. Maybe he or she didn't. There goes a reputation, tho... [Link] |
