I believe the point may have been that the event is not being held at a 21-and-over venue such as a nightclub. (Whether the barely-legal segment of the talent pool typically have trouble with getting carded and turned away from adult establishments, I do not know.)
Savoy- yes I read that and posted a reply on lukeisback but I just can't see how anybody didn't get into the Avalon. The doormen were checking IDs to determine who could drink but I'm not sure why Kimberly Kane had a problem. Speigler said it was because she didn't have a wristband but that should have easily been a problem solved but I wasn't there at that minute to witness that in person. To Harri Patel: Yes I was referring to the fact that most LA clubs are 21 and over and since a big portion of the porn girls are under 21, I was merely doing a public service announcement so that all porn girls would know they could come down since very few agents informed their girls. It was a really fun night.

1 - No piericngs 2 - No tattoos 3 - No implants if you think your breasts are too small. No oversized implants (D or larger) if your breasts do not look good.
Here's a little fable from my own life in porn so far. When I first decided to do porn, I did so with my friend who goes by Miss Z, or Zenevieve. We both signed up with the same agent, but both kept trying to find our own work. I've since done shoots in Chicago, LA and NYC, all porn. She went the alt route, signed up with Suicide Girls, and sent her info to Burning Angel. She's done some local modeling, but no one has signed her on for an adult shoot to date. I have no tats or piercings, she has many. I think that the track record proves that, even with Alt Porn, the preference is for girls without tats and metal. She's hot, and I love her to death, but I think her porn career ended before it began due solely to the tats...
I am not a big fan of neither tats nor fake boobs, yet almost all of my favourite actresses have either one or the other (sometimes even both...). My conclusion is that for me it is the performance that is most important, not how they choose to "sculpture" their bodies. I am happier with bodies without (or with fewer, smaller) tats and natural boobs. However I think we should let the girls take their decisions themselves. I would rather have a proud, secure actress in a scene than somebody who feels insecure with herself. Hopefully the girls who choose to get tats and new boobs, do this in a way to express themselves. When this is the fact, I am certain that it will enhance their performance. If by any chance some girls are pressured into getting tats and/or fake boobs by agents or others in the industry, now that would be something to condemne! Edited by - Acke on 4/18/2010 8:21:58 PM
