On a side note, I, too, feel disappointed sometimes. For example, the street date of BAKER'S DOZEN #8 was a mixed day. However, in its first day released, on one single bit torrent site, it had been downloaded over 1,100 times. Net revenue to me: $0. It doesn't just happen to me, of course, but it hurts a smaller producer much more than a larger company.

Porn is a business, not a charity, and my first obligation rests with myself to make sure I can keep things going. Sorry if this lets you down but the times they are a-changin' and it's never been more important to be smart with your money.

When the prices are like that, what sort of incentive does a producer have to continue struggling? I put a LOT more than $8 into any single volume of this series and it kills me that this is what it's come to.

I am not so delusional that I don't notice all the other great titles from other quality companies that are up on the main page here at ADT....for less than $5. Wow! Man, there are bargains galore! Great for the consumer but the only guy who will be able to start a new company soon will be Warren Buffet. When billionaires can afford to give billions away, I am just going to send a letter and plead my case. I mean, if I started the Iron Foundation and claimed to investigate the oral ways of preventing unwanted pregnancy, I might get handed a million or two.

No worries, though, because challenging times bring out the best in people. I am not going anywhere and will spend my last dollar on production. In the meantime, just sit back and enjoy the plethora of good product out there. It's cheap and available everywhere.

I put out several series which, in my opinion, offer great value for the consumer. Examples of what I mean by "great value" include:
- double discs for same price as single discs (I did double-disc releases on INTENSITIES IN 1O CITIES #2, 50 TO 1 #1, 50 TO 1 #2, 50 TO 1 #3, TEN LITTLE PIGGIES #7, and TEN LITTLE PIGGIES #8)

- original DVD extra shoots that were not necessary but add to the value of the DVD. Virtually every one of my releases has something original. Many other companies give outtakes from the movie or recycle other scenes from other movies.

- More girls than most of the competition. 50 to 1 has 50 scenes....AND a bonus scene. For TEN LITTLE PIGGIES, you get 10 girls instead of fewer. I try to hire the best girls I can and tend to shoot new, unknowns rather than well-known stars. The coolest extra in PIGGIES #7 and #8 were the TOSES LIKE ROSES, each one had dozens of girls doing foot tease and was approximately 1 hour in length. That was an extra, not the movie.

- More loads than most other series. In I LOVE IT ROUGH #2, there were 55 guys hired in one scene alone to cum in Maggie Star's mouth. Most of the A GOOD SOURCE OF IRON volumes averaged around 100 loads....all swallowed. BAKER'S DOZEN has had 520 cumshots captured in its library so far. This doesn't include the money I have advanced for BAKER'S DOZEN #9, sitting in a box, or the other releases shot but not released.

Having said this, it is not realistic to me to continue spending more and more on production. It just doesn't make sense. I am glad you enjoy the movies but I have already extended myself as far as I am willing. My life savings are all in. There's nothing left just so I can "out-do" something or satisfy some guy's ever-increasing, unrealistic expectations of what he wants to see.

I simply cannot afford to support the number of high-cost series that I enjoy doing. I am living within my means, so to speak.
