I know that when I got my new player, any problems that would arise on my old player no longer existed.
Just a thought...

Nothing. The disc would not load. I took it out and looked for dust or scratches, nothing. This is a brand new disc I purchased (did not rent). Tried again and nothing. Tested another movie and it plays fine. Anyways, looks like I'll have to contact xrent and see what they say. I'm not really pissed or anything at all, just bummed. Wifey and I were REALLY looking forward to checking out this nasty DVD tonight. Oh well, sniff sniff. Edited by - horny_1 on Oct 12 2002 [Link] |

| horny_1 Member Cali 215 Posts 8/01 | Like I mentioned, I tested it with another DVD right after and it plays fine. I'm gonna give it one more whirl later tonight and see what happens. I don't have a good feeling though. Thx |

Other than that, as Asmodeus said, contact Xrent because they have been excellent, excellent on working with their customers. DenverDon |
| horny_1 Member Cali 215 Posts 8/01 | I know xrent has superb customer service so I'm not really worried about it. Does anyone know how they handle this situation? I'm assuming they will ask for me to return the title and upon receipt send me out another. later |

Regarding you question about Xrent, I haven't had your problem, but someone else that posted here received a shipment and there was an empty case. They contacted Xrent and a new disc was simply shipped out to him with no questions asked. So my impression is that they will not require any convoluted process.
