Yeah, there's also an old addage for that, RE: business & pleasure. Meaning, you don't let the two interfere with each other. If matrimony had that much influence on porn, we'd have lost many more stars to the G/G genre by now, unfortunately.
To each his own, but I feel no need to kiss @$$, dropping to the level of "respect" or not. This isn't about respecting decisions, or being happy for someone. I just found it rather odd to enhance one's look through expensive cosmetic surgery, only to about-face towards the softer side of the industry.
As for keeping up with Pat Myne / Danny Case's lovelife, sorry, but it's not in my cards. I'm more interested in porn for the girls. In the meantime, guess I'll have to treasure scenes such as BD#5 when she was in her prime.

Yeah this g/g thing happens so much in this day and age. But most of the time, How does it end?!? They break up with the guy they were committed to and start doing b/g 2 days later. I don't think that's the case at all. Rather, just a made up thought in your lil' head, wheat. As for wewe, he's a foreigner whose vernacular might not be understood in application of what he's trying to say.
If you read Dean Wormer's reply, you have to ask yourself the question, "Alektra goes G/G...shouldn't Pat obstain from fucking other girls as well?" While part bi/gay scene overall, G/G is more natural appearing than B/B scenes, and I doubt you'll see Pat (or 95% of straight male performers) flip that barrier. The trend that his relationships with performers tend to take is what seems to be the issue here. It always appears to be the girl making the sacrafice, because there is a more openly accepted alternative within the industry.
Melissa: Happy for the marriage 99.9%, just a tad bit disappointed that she's going G/G only now.

This is excellent news, Alektra...it works out for all parties.
Sorry if it seemed blown out of proportion, but as a B/G performer (for the hetero value, if I must clarify), you've been one of my favorite performers since you hit the scene. Regardless the star, there are very few who I'd consider myself a fan when they go G/G. In any industry, I find I'm a fan of the performance, not necessarily the performer (Creed's Scott Stapp was a perfect example of this ~ he's a whiney bitch).
There's just something about having testoterone in a scene that makes it that much hotter to watch. Unfortunately G/G just doesn't bring that to the table, regardless how fuckin' hot it's participants are, IMHO
if a performer decides he/she doesn't want to do certain scenes anymore you guys, the fans, have to accept that. if you fall in love with somebody and you want to give yourself to that person only than that is a very personal decision. the porn business is unlike any other business because you have sex with other people for a living and at some point in their lives every performer comes to the point where they just don't want to do it anymore, where they want to put their focus on other things like a true committed relationship for example.

All of the pornstars that have posted about this, seem to think the fans have a problem with a performer getting married and being happy and committed (sorta).
